This complaint is same as many other that have already been submitted. that is icw may 27,2016 manufacturer recall number2049152 nhtsa recall number16v383 recall statusrecall incomplete, remedy not yet available we need to sue them for putting our families life in danger for way to long. summary - takata corporation (?takata?) has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2007-2008 cadillac escalade, escalade esv, escalade ext, chevrolet avalanche, silverado 1500, suburban, tahoe, gmc sierra 1500, yukon, and yukon xl vehicles. this is based upon takata?s decision that front passenger airbag inflators it supplied to gm are defective. gm has submitted to nhtsa a petition for inconsequentiality and nhtsa has granted gm until august 2017 to complete its investigation and to submit all data supporting the petition. if the petition is denied, gm will conduct a recall of the airbag inflators covered by takata?s defect information report. for more information visit www.regulations.gov and search for docket no. nhtsa-2016-0124. your web site says "if the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle i am doing that with is complaint. 3 1/2 years with no resolution is not timely. please advise. please inform us of what is being done

Takata recall- i called my local dealership to have this remedied and was told gm does not have a fix for this? i have already had my bmw 3 series and chrysler 200 airbags fixed so why is gm having issues with replacing them? the electrical system also has enormous amounts of corrosion at all the system connections, i saw there has been a technical bulletin posted for this, so what has gm done to fix this issue also? i just bought the cadillac and the airbag service light was on and i was told it was due to this recall not getting done.

Takata recall bought the 2007 escalade from mcarthy-morse chevrolet in overland park kansas on october 13,2016. we were showed a carfax that was ciean with no recalls.the takata airbag recall began in may 2016.when we tried to trade the vehicle in the same dealer said they did not want to trade for the vehicle because there was no fix for the problem.

Takata recall airbag inflators, have not yet been replaced. i received my recall notice in 2016 and have taken my vehicle to ron carter dealership in friendswood, tx where the vehicle was purchased, however, i was informed that the replacement part was not in and it will be indefinitely. the truck has a hard time accelerating when trying to keep speed or trying to go to a higher speed, also a noise is coming from the vehicle after i turn on the ignition. i was informed by ron carter cadillac that i needed to file a claim once i receive the recall notice to fie a claim on or about 10/2017. i have been trying to get my vehicle recall taken care of since 11/2017 not to long after i purchased the vehicle approximately july 2017
