Tl* the contact owns a 2007 cadillac escalade. the contact stated that the check air bag indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing, but the results were unknown. the vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 118,000. updated 10/22/14*cn the consumer stated the power/heated seats, door handles(3), wheel bearings, shocks and struts, brakes, headlights, traction control, and engine all have failed and were repaired. there was also rust that recurred after it was repaired. updated 05/19/2015 *js
2007 escalade tail gate came open on its own all cargo spilled onto the street . the car was in gear moving thru an intersection. this has happened once, then i stopped driving the vehicle i contacted cad they did not seem too interested or concerned because vehicle has 60k miles and is out of warranty. *tr
I have a cadillac escalade 2007 awd. it has 70,000 miles on it and the chrome plated interior door handles have peeled off exposing sharp edges. both the passenger and the driver interior door handles have exposed sharp edges. through normal use, the chrome has peeled. there has been no abuse to them. these sharp edges have cut my finger once and also passenger fingers on three occasions. the cut is worse than a paper cut. they average about 1.5 inches. nothing has been done to correct the failure as i am out of bumper to bumper warranty. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2007 cadillac escalade. she stated that when opening the door, her finger was cut by the drivers side front chrome door handle. upon further inspection she noticed that the chrome finish on the door handle begun to degrade. the vehicle has not been taken to a dealer, nor have any repairs been made. the current and failure mileages were 19000.
