Tl*the contact owns a 2000 cadillac escalade. while driving 55 mph, the rear continental sportiva (size p265/70r16) tires blew out. the passenger side rear tire was completely shredded. the contact did not drive over anything that could have led to such a failure. the vehicle was not damaged. the dot number was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 81,000.

Dt*: the contact stated while driving at various speeds and turning sharply left or right the front tires rubbed the frame of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to shutter, this happened either in drive or reverse. the vehicle was taken to the dealer. upon inspection the front tire rod ends were replaced. the dealer stated the tires on the vehicle were the correct size. however , replacing the tire rod ends did not correct the problem. updated 06/05/2006. *ak *ts

The vehicle vibrated repeatdly when the speed approached 70 mph consumer believes the goodyear wrangler p265/70r16 tires on the vehicle were the cause. *yh
