Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac cts. the contact stated that while driving at approximately 15 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated without the accelerator pedal being depressed. in addition, when turning the steering wheel to the left there was an abnormal noise. the contact mentioned that the failure recurred twice. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was unable to be duplicated. the vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. . the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac cts. the contact backed out of the driveway, placed the vehicle in drive, when it suddenly accelerated independently. the contact depressed the brake pedal continuously until the vehicle came to a stop. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing where the technician advised the contact that the power brake booster auxiliary pump would have to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. immediately after the repair, the failure recurred. the technicians inspected the vehicle and advised the contact that a fuse to the auxiliary vacuum pump failed and would have to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 21,877. updated 9/17/12 *cn updated 09/21/2012 *js
