Passenger airbag occupant sensor/module is faulty. after a while, the mat kinks, bends, or folds. due to this it loses connection and triggers a "service airbag soon", disabling the airbag system until the problem is fixed. this is the same problem as in nhtsa recall #10v644000, but for some reason my car is not covered. it requires replacement with the same gm part number (19124390).
