113,000 miles, the car said reduced engine power, service stabillitrack and then died. wouldn't start. took to repair shop and they pulled the solenoid from the engine and said it was covered with metal shavings. car was within oil change range but no oil present. now have to replace the engine and this is an issue with all these 2.4 engines.
Weird engine noise , when switching the ignition switch sometimes delay, also dash lights and headlights also ac doesn't work and low oil , low air , and low coolant lights turn on even if all of them are full at the right level .
I was driving about 35 mph on city street and my car starting jerking i looked at the dash the gear had shifted it said 'md' when i looked at what gear my car was in . the car was jerking more and there was a lot of smoke coming from my car the engine light also came on . i panicked this has never happened . i turned on a side street and instantly pulled over and turned the car off. got out the car and opened the hood , let it coo off and started it back up the engine light wasn't on . drove the car to my destination had no problems . i use this car as my daily driver to work i have to travel 15 miles to and from work . i lease this car from a local dealership in my city i owe about 12 thousand and i make monthly payments . please help. i believe there is still a warranty on my car i will have to find out more about it . my son was in the car with me with this happened i was terrified didn't know what to do ...
Whenever i am driving my vehicle for an hour it starts to stall or sputter in traffic and the engine dies completely. it will restart but still continues to hesitate when accelerating. i've taken it to a mechanic and no error codes pop up when this happens so they do not know the cause or how to fix the issue.
Vehicle was traveling at approximately 35 mph on a city street when a "pop" noise was heard, immediately followed by the car shutting down. there was no warning or system error lights on and none turned on. there was no power or brakes available in the vehicle. upon attempting to coast vehicle off the road to a safe area, 2 people driving by yelled to get out, as there were flames coming out of the undercarriage. the entire front of the car including the engine engulfed in flames. area firefighters were called to extinguish the fire. total loss of vehicle. additionally, this vehicle is equipped with on star services and a monthly report is received showing any issues or concerns with the vehicle. upon receiving the report on july 27, 2019 there were no issues reported expect a low tire pressure.
I got a 2012 buick regal i brought it july 2018 my car was died out of nowhere about 5 months prior list and then after i changed my oil my car didn't go anymore it sounded like a chain the first night after they change the oil and then the next day i drove it for 2 hours i don't know if the timing is off or what
2011 buick regal purchased from show room floor in 2011. presentative maintenance up to date. no warning lights. something terribly wrong with transmission, engine. while driving on city street approaching interstate at 25 mph, car starting stalling, puttering, losing power. pulled over, put in park. then car would not go into gear. would accelerate but would not go into gear or move. had to be towed. first thing dealer service center suggest is $3000 transmission. car only has 60,000 miles, one owner. no way! no prior symptoms or warning lights, in fact onstar diagnostics currently showing no issues found with engine/transmission system. this car is unsafe and should be recalled!!! 2011 buick regal diagnostics report from your 2011 buick regal as of 07/08/2019 no issues found
When driving the vehicle it stops out of nowhere and cuts back on. there is a burning/melting smell coming from the back of the vehicle. once the car is off sometimes the battery is drained. the driver side head light keeps getting moisture inside and causes the bulb to go out.
Back on february 9th, 2019 i had an oil change and received whatever premium-ultra synthetic oil they had. this oil was rated up to 9,000 miles i believe. as i was heading in for an oil change on the morning of june 2nd, 2019 the car suddenly locked with brakes and steering becoming extremely stiff. i was driving when this occurred but had been coming to a stop with nobody in front of me luckily. had this happened 15 seconds before as i was going 55mph around a curve, i would have undoubtedly killed myself or someone else. there was no ability to steer the car or brake. when i took the car to the dealership they told me the engine would require a complete rebuild, costing seven-thousand-dollars. they claim it was caused by a "lack of maintenance (ie. not keeping up on oil changes)". the lack of oil then caused the timing chain to break, which then further damaged intake valves, head gaskets, balance chain, etc. now i know february 9th and june 2nd is nearly four months apart, however, in that time i had put less than 2,000 miles on the car. how was i ...
