Tl* the contact owns a 2011 buick regal. as the contact backed out of the drive and placed the vehicle in drive, all the instrument panel indicators illuminated. within a couple of seconds, all the air bags deployed, except the steering air bag. there were no injuries. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to tow the vehicle to the dealer. the dealer was not contacted. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v517000 (electrical system, seats). the contact stated that she was not notified of the recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 154,200. parts distribution disconnect.

Obd warning b0074, b0081 - pps module faulty - cannot detect passenger weight in car, therefore disabled the passenger airbag. after some research, i am seeing multiple gm issues on the same error, obd b0081, faulty pps sensor on comaros and volts

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 buick regal. the contact stated that the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power. the vehicle was pushed to the side of the road and restarted. the vehicle was taken to an independnent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the ecm, crank sensor, and mass air flow sensor were defective and needed to be replaced. the dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 23,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 buick regal. while the contact was driving approximately 22 mph over a road bump, the four side air bags deployed abruptly with a loud noise. there was no impact to the vehicle. the contact was transported to the hospital and sustained body bruises as a result of the extensive force during the air bag deployment. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the technician was unable to determine the cause of failure and declared the air bag defect as a product failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 1,133. updated 08/31/11 *bf the consumer stated the right front wheel hit the curb and the air bags should not have deployed. 01/30/12
