Problems with 2007 Buick Lucerne INTERIOR LIGHTING

On average, the 2007 Buick Lucerne starts to “feel” problems with the INTERIOR LIGHTING and its various aspects after 9 400 miles.

Recently reported INTERIOR LIGHTING problems on 2007 Buick Lucerne

Dash cluster display is unreadable during daylight hours depriving the driver of critical information which could present a safety hazard, viz., speed, engine temperature, oil pressure, etc. i notified dealer of this problem a few times and they replaced the cluster; however, the replacement was no improvement. the dash is still illegible during daylight hours. i have followed up with the dealer on this defect and was told that there was no fix for the problem. *tr

Re: 2007 buick lucerne. in daylight driving the instrument cluster is not visible. very hard to read odometer or gas gauge, have contacted dealers with no success in solving problem. *tr

2007 buick lucerne lighting system on the dashboard becomes invisible at different times. *nj the consumer stated the dashboard cluster was modified, but it did not help. *jb

The xm radio gps panel can not be dimmed at night this is a serious safety problem and can't believe it cant be fixed. *tr

Cannot read the odometer or fuel gauge when driving in sunlight. it is completely dark when it is sunny outside. dealer suggests tinting windows?? panel has been replaced, but still same problem. is buick going to do any thing about this??

Instrument panel on 2007 buick lucerne difficult to read in the daylight. the gauges are recessed in tunnels such that the light doesn't make reading the temperature ,gas and speedometer readable. this is a design defect. *tr
