I have replaced all 4 window regulators twice. i have done research, and it appears many have the same issue. buick claims to sell "luxury" this is far from luxury and is unsafe! driving 65mph and the windows just go down....then won't go back up! my car had to sit outside with both back windows down! *tr
Rear window regulator have malfunctioned for 3rd time in both rear windows. oil leaking from valve/heads causing smoke under hood. door controls shorted out,and electrical problems causing doors to lock and unlock without cause and switching from driver1 to driver2 and back while driving. *tr

The driver's side window was stuck and would not come back up, it was fixed and two years later broke again, and the rear window on the driver's side did the same thing. this happened in the middle of winter, in the midwest, with temperatures in the teens. we had to duct-tape the window closed to be able to drive the car in freezing temperatures. i cannot believe the same car has had 3 issues in 2 years with the window mechanisms! something is terribly wrong, and it has cost over $600 to fix the car! the repairs do not last. apparently the manufacturer uses cheap plastic parts which break. are we never supposed to use an atm or a drive-through? it is very dangerous not to have windows go back up, especially in rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. *tr
This is regarding recent replacement of both rear window regulators. research has proven that many complaints have been filed over the years with no recall. i would hope for financial help, $1000 to cover the cost of repairs, as the minimum response; and also, i hope for a recall to help the many others who have suffered great financial costs and safety. i have been directed by my father, [xxx], original and present owner of this 2002 buick, to help him be a responsible consumer/customer. my father of 88 years still believes in american made cars, especially in gm. he has been watching, like many americans, for a "come back" in the auto industry, especially the correction of problems that clearly has a large documentation of complaints as this one. i hope you will be able to honor his faithfulness in perhaps a small financial way, and perhaps even in a greater way through a recall.
