Recently reported FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE problems on 2002 Buick LeSabre

2002 buick lesabre. consumer writes in regards to vehicle surges forward when brakes are applied. *smd the consumer also stated the vehicle had defective drums, that melted and severed the front brake wiring, exactly at the point when the brake system wires traveled from the engine and entered the brake drums. the consumer also stated the vehicle had poor gas mileage, the three out of the four windows collapsed in the down position, and would not come back up. the consumer believed the engine and the hood were defective, as the paint on the hood melted.

Tl* the contact owns a 2002 buick lesabre. she noticed that both rear windows had fallen inside of the door. the vehicle has not been taken to the dealer for inspection. the same failure occurred on the front passenger-side window. the current and failure mileages were 42000. updated 1/28/10 *cn the fuel pressure regulator was leaking. the manifold was cracked and had to be replaced as well as the crankshaft sensor. updated 02/03/10.*jb

Engine stalled while driving. would not restart. dealer diagnosed as defective fuel pump (short) and replaced. same problem occurred 1 week later. *ak

Consumer stated while turning a corner, the engine stalled and would not restart. the problem was diagnosed as a defective fuel pump.scc *jb

Vehicle has been taken to dealer shop and has a problem with fuel injection. consumer stated having this problem because of engine light coming on. dealer stated that vehicle was not safe to drive.*akthe system was checked and found that the num. six cylinder had burned out and an injector had shorted out. this is the second vehicle consumer has had that experienced this problem. *jg
