Tl* the contact owns a 2000 buick lesabre. the contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic due to a flat tire. the contact was informed the inner tie rod bushing had rusted and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. a dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer had not been informed of failure. the failure mileage was 93,000.
As i was driving my buick lesabre 2000 my windows lock up on me it was a very hot summer so the electrical windows with no go up and down. the engine is bad. 1490000 miles. electrical system is problems. the car wiring is loose and can be a dangerous. i tried to pull window down and repair its manually frozen with no power. my seat are uncomfortable with hard iron wire.
The upper dashboard has separated from the car as it is raised from the left corner to the middle of the dashboard, at the front of the dashboard closest to the windshield. in some places it is over 6 inches raised. it continues to worsen, moving over to the right side of the dash closer to the passenger airbag. i am concerned that this might cause the passenger airbag to go off by mistake. it has also reached the height where driver frontal vision is beginning to be slightly impaired because of this defect. i am aware that this is an inherent problem with these dashboards in this model vehicle. i have contacted gm and they have offered no assistance. this vehicle has been garaged and not out in the sun more than usual. *tr
Dashboard pad separated and buckled up blocking view. the separation is increasing and growing towards the passenger airbag location. *tr
Dashboard cover lifting at driver side sight-line approximately at 1 o'clock position (straight ahead is 12 o'clock) over about a one foot width, where dashboard meets windshield . height of rise maybe only an inch now but getting worse. headliner also falling from overhead blocking driver's rearward view through rear view mirror. *tr
When the car was purchased there were no dashpad flaws. car was and still is garage kept. the dashpad has been lifting across the entire width of the pad from front to rear and exposing the structure underneath. this includes the passenger side airbag area which the dash pad is completly lifted and not sure if airbag is exposed. *tt

Dash cover is peeling. concern for safety if air bag deploys because of problem. *tr
Dash pad cover material has separated from the dash pad base. issue is seen on many 2000-2005 buick lesabre automobiles. manufacturing defect that needs a senior brand manager to step up to the plate for a solution to the high number of dissatisfied owners like me. i also have a 2002 lesabre custom that is doing the exact same thing. i will file a complaint on that unit as well. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2000 buick lesabre. the vehicle was purchased on may 15, 2009. four days later, the contact took her vehicle to a mechanic and it was discovered that the undercarriage was rusting and corroding. the mechanic stated that parts of the undercarriage may be damaged. the vin was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 52,456.
Auto battery acid leak which has eaten a hole in floor of car in passenger compartment. battery is located in passenger compartment under rear seat. acid leaked from damaged battery post over period of time. due to location of battery it is only checked when car fails to start due to battery failure. hole in floor permits car exhaust gases to enter passenger compartment. *tr. updated 01/09/08. *lj updated 12/12/07 *tr
The dash pad started peeling up, from the windshield side directly in front of the driver, approximately 2007. every year it curled up more & more, by 2013 it had lifted about 3". i contacted buick around 2010 about this defect, they did nothing. after researching this defect i have found hundreds of other buick owner have had this same issue. this curling defect can particularly block one's field of view, especially short drivers who may not even be aware the dash is curling up. *tr
I am on my 6th window assembly replacement. why would they want to keep putting the same defective parts back into your car? the last one i had to pay for at $400. the other 4 were under warranty, the first at 17,000. now, i am going to not have this one repaired as i cannot afford it. guess when it's 125 degrees in my car in the summer i'll just have to open all the doors to cool it off! can't put the windows down!*ak
There is water coming into the back floor board behind drivers seat of my 2000 bucik lesabre. unable to find where leak is and now i have smell i cannot get rid of. the water is even there when no rainfall present.*ak
The dash board buckled. passenger window regulator broke drivers window regulator broke rear passenger window regulator broke rear drivers side window regulator broke passenger window regulator broke-again light button stuck on. *tr
While driving the vehicles tread separated from the right rear tire which caused the vehicle to veer into a guard rail. other problems are as followed: drivers side and rear windows are inoperative, cruise control switch is inoperative and after it rains there is a water puddle on the driver side floor. *scc *nlm
Vehicle's right fender inside fiber splash protector shield had been cut away. also there was a problem with the steering, the power steering pump and steering assembly had to be replaced. *mr *cb *jb
Whenever vehicle is being wash or during wet weather water get into the trunk. dealer contacted. feel free to provide any further condition.*ak
There was a leak coming from the dashboard. as a result of heavy rain dashboard wires/floorboard were wet. *ak
While the vehicle was parked at a slight incline consumer opened the trunk lid and it fell down. this caused consumer to sustain minor injuries. vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic claimed that it was designed that way. *ak
Fuel tank and sending lines need to be replaced due to o-rings improperly fitted on fuel pump. in july 2000, vehicle was making a knocking noise when turning or going over a bump. front/rear transmission mounts were defective components. dealership put a sealer on this, but it failed to correct defect. *ak the dealer had replaced motor, transmission mounts, power steering lines, gasket to catalytic convertor and switch for heated seat. *yh
If a person were standed in the car during a wyo blizzard the heater would not be able to keep you from freezing. the car has been returned to the dealers six or more times and the problem can't be remedied.
