The dash-pad has separated... and curled! the entire top dash-pad has lifted 2 inches, directly in front of the driver's steering wheel.....this is causing a severe safety hazard! visibility has been blocked! i am afraid for my safety! please investigate!
Dash is separating causing it to pull apart at passenger airbag and glove compartment. worried air bag will deploy and harm someone or not work at all. can't open glove compartment anymore.
When the car was purchased there were no dashpad flaws. car was and still is garage kept. the dashpad has been lifting across the entire width of the pad from front to rear and exposing the structure underneath. this includes the passenger side airbag area which the dash pad is completly lifted and not sure if airbag is exposed. *tt
Dashboard is wrinkled above instrument panel and is pulling away from front next to windshield. is continuing to get worse. concerned of safety that airbag may deploy while driving.
Dashboard is buckled all the way across. keeps getting worse and i'm afraid the airbag on the passenger side will deploy causing me to have an accident. i am afraid to drive it but it is my only means of transportation. i would appreciate any help with this matter. buick really should consider a recall for this before someone gets hurt or worse yet killed. thanks *tt
the dashboard on our buick lesabre custom is separating from the windshield causing a safety hazard that could expose the air bag on the passenger side. it is also separating from the ac vents. it is also causing a hazard for the driver's vision.
Back power windows - something on the cable breaks and the window falls down. now there is no way to keep the window up other than to block it up on the inside door panel with a block of wood. the first window fell a couple of years ago. this week the second window fell. we hardly ever use these windows as there is just the two of us. it costs $600 each to repair. our extended warranty is over. what is our recourse? is there any recall so the manufacturer would fix this? (having to block up windows is really a good way to advertise how great our car is! we had thought about buying another buick, but now i wonder.) *tr

The rear driver side power window failed. there was a loud pop and the window slid half way down and would not go back up. i talked to my mechanic, and he said that it was a cable that broke. he knew instantly because he had replaced many of them in similar buick lesabres. we know of two friends personally who have had the same problem. for one friend, it happened on more than one window in her car. to get it fixed at the dealership cost nearly $500. it appears to us that this is a faulty part and that the auto maker should recall and repair it at their cost.
I am on my 6th window assembly replacement. why would they want to keep putting the same defective parts back into your car? the last one i had to pay for at $400. the other 4 were under warranty, the first at 17,000. now, i am going to not have this one repaired as i cannot afford it. guess when it's 125 degrees in my car in the summer i'll just have to open all the doors to cool it off! can't put the windows down!*ak
When starting vehicle intake manifold exploded due to a remote starting system. dealer contacted. *ak the vehicle rattles in center dash area. the vehicle intermittantly would not crank. service engine soon light came on intermittantly. *yh

Cup holders will hold nothing. an attempt to put a car designed cup holder of hot coffee could result in severe injuries. there is nothing that will fit in the drink holder---not a can, not a cup, not a bottle!!
While driving vehicle engine check light came out & stayed. would be risking engine shut down if kept driving. contacted dealer 6 different times for engine problem. parts had been repaired, but the problem would reappear a few days later. *ak
