Tl* the contact owns a 2012 buick lacrosse. while driving 30 mph, the contact's vehicle was struck on the front driver's side fender and door. the contact stated that the front driver's air bag failed to deploy. a police report was filed. the contact's head struck the steering wheel and she sustained body and muscular pain from the seat belt. the contact was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. the vehicle was towed to an auto body shop to be repaired. neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. the failure mileage was unknown.

Check air bag warning in driver information center in my wife's 2012 lacrosse w e-assit comes on sometimes ,but goes off in less than 15 seconds. has 87,000 miles. is this covered or do i have to take it in and pay for it? she wants to know if the air bag is working all the time, or what?

Driver side seat belt buckle would not lock, which renders airbags inoperable. involved my safety; i considered equipment defect. dealer said seat belt kit was necessary to repair and charged me $235.60.
