Service air bag warning
Seat belt light indicator lead to dealership diagnosing a faulty seat belt housing and tension. the dash indicator flashes on and off while driving.
One day, "service airbag" text just came up on the screen in the dashboard along with the airbag shaped light. nothing happened to the car, i just have been driving it normally. it just came on with no reason. it has 62,400 miles on it. 2014.
Possible electrical short? fuel gauge dropped over an eighth of a tank when just filled it up and drove 2 miles home. next time i started it up it displayed the aforementioned. has done this a few times now. also service airbag light has come on intermittently prior to fuel gauge issue and now is on every time. called buick and they acknowledge that it has been a problem for that model and even year just not my vin. perhaps expansion of vehicles affected??? 77,000 miles

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 buick enclave. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated while driving. the vehicle was taken to rick hendrick chevrolet norfolk (6252 e virginia beach blvd, norfolk, va 23502, phone number: (757) 266-5804) where it was diagnosed that the air bag had shorted out and code b0022-0d was found. the pressure seat belt resistance was too high and dielectric grease needed to be added to the electric connector of the seat belt. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the approximate failure mileage was 50,472.
Service airbag panel caution light illuminates. it goes out and comes on randomly. dealer cannot find root cause and simply resets light to turn it off. there is a recall 2008-1013 buick enclave for this identical problem. this is on a 2014 model.
Tl* the contact owned a 2014 buick enclave. while driving into an intersection, the driver's side of the contact's vehicle was struck by an oncoming vehicle. the contact's vehicle spun off the road and landed in a ditch. the front end and driver's side of the vehicle were severely damaged. the contact was unable to recall the details of the crash. the air bags did not deploy. the contact was informed that the seat belt failed to lock and properly restrain him. the vehicle was towed and totaled. a police report was filed. the contact received injuries to the ribs, clavicle, and shoulder, which required medical attention. the approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

Service airbag warning light was on for 4 days. took car into buick dealership, they said the light wasn't on and couldn't find a problem. the light was on when i dropped the car off that day. they had my car for 2 days. got the car back on friday evening, 2 days later the light is back on. there is a recall for this issue in 2013 models, but since this is a 2014 i wanted to make this known that it is a problem and may require a recall for the 2014 buick enclave. *tr
