Recently reported SEAT BELTS problems on 2013 Buick Enclave

Gm is doing the recall for chafing affecting the steel cable (14v266000 or 14187) the rubber sleeve my dealer installed is aggressively chafing worse than before, even on the passenger side, which barely gets any use. it appears the fix is worse than before ... the plastic around the seat is easily tearing away the sleeve (after only a few weeks) and will directly affect the seat belt. someone could get killed, and people are probably not checking since they thought the recall solved the problem... i have photos of the problem is you want, and i called gm on 6/17/14 ... 800-462-8782 .. a customer service rep told me they can only keep fixing it this way. i asked her to escalate myreport since the fix could (also) get someone killed and she said she can't escalate this type of problem. what????? *tr
