The vehicle was taken to the dealer for regular maintenance, and it was determined that the front left lower control arm separated, which could break off the front of the vehicle. repair was performed by the shop. *ak the rear mount of the lower control arm was traditional horizontal mounting. this caused the rubber to separate from the lower control arm. buick denied there was a problem even though the design had been changed.. *sc *jb

2000 century limited.....20,340 mile bought new. noise from the engine (lifters) is getting louder and the front end is pounding. i see that the tie rods are bad, the rack is sloppy the brakes and rotors have failed due to chinese materials. the car is garaged, maintained and taken care of. the hydraulic brakes line have failed and had to be replaced. presently owning 12 gm cars right now,this car is falling apart. it has the v-6 engine that has gotten 35 mpg on a trip (if it makes it). *tr

Consumer states has had numerous brake problems since vehicle was purchased. at 11500 mi had to have rotors turned and brake pads replaced. at 12500mi replaced front rotors, brake pads and galipers. at 24000mi replaced rear brake cylinders, cut down/turned rear drums, replaced front rotors and replaced 2 lower control arm bushings.*jb passenger side window was rattling. *yh

While vehicle is being driven with rear windows down entire vehicle severely vibrates. dealer cannot identify problem. *ak *slc

When driving vehicle drifts to the right. dealer has seen vehicle seven times, and tried to correct. but, problem still exists.*ak consumer states there is a noise coming from rear of vehicle when in reverse and braking, ac is not blowing cold, consmer states front end is low to the bottom makes a nosie whenwhen in reverse, the button on the steering wheel and the radio does not sto on station, consumer states it takes to long for vehicle to start at times.*jb

Vehicle was making a knocking and humming noise under normal operation. dealership has looked at vehicle and said that there was no defect in engine. *slc

While driving car started to wiggle across road at 55mph. consumer had to slow down to keep control of vehicle, took to dealer, and they couldn't duplicate problem. *ak
