We purchased the vehicle used late summer 2013. upon having the vehicle inspected we discovered that both rear coil springs were broken. we were told by multiple resources that this is a common problem with bmw. we replaced the springs. i want to know why this is not a recall. other brand/models with cracked/broken rear coil springs have had recalls. this is a safety issue. high speed cornering could cause springs to separate from vehicle. *tr
