When driving my 2001 bmw x5 on ice, soft dirt road, slush, (ice with pavement) the car fishtails in the rear. i had brand new winter tires put on and the vehicle was just aligned. i had 4 different mechanics look at it and no one can seem to figure it out. please help.
I have tail break light on wen i drive all time.
2001 bmw x5 right front axel boot discovered leaking after 5-1/2 years light duty (57k miles). left front one was found to be cracked and also needed replacement. if not discovered, potentially could have resulted in loss of steering control. *nm
Consumer stated vehicle made a grinding noise near the front left area. vehicle was taken to a mechanic, who determined that there was something loose in the front end. *ak
Tires were wearing out prematurely. dealer noticed rear suspension control arm was bent, causing tires to wear out prematurely. dealer replaced part.*ak
The driver and passenger side windows rattle when going up due to window regulator failure. *yh
Consumer states a problem existed where the vehcle would suddenly cut off when in a turn and when first starting. the fan blower motor and the coolant thermostat had to be replaced to correct improper heater operation. *tt
