Bmw has issued two recalls related to my 2017 bmw x1 failing to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standards related to the emergency locking retractor (no. 16v-747) and trim piece (no. 19v-349) - with no remedy available at this time. these recalls have been effective since april and may 2019. as of july 2019, there is still no remedy available. bmw has failed to remedy this defect within a reasonable period of time.
