Problems with 2008 BMW 328 AIR BAGS

On average, the 2008 BMW 328 starts to “feel” problems with the AIR BAGS and its various aspects after 75 000 miles.

Recently reported AIR BAGS problems on 2008 BMW 328

Takata air bag recall, pcv valve recall, blower motor recall, and constant electrical problems. issues still not resolved by bmw. issue keeps getting blown off by bmw.

Takata recall. i have called dealer five times and they do not know when they will get the repair part. i own two 2008 bmw's with same recall. columbia sc bmw 803 404 5400. surely someone knows the status of the new part. they seem to be ignoring me, never had that happen before.

I have contacted united bmw of roswell several times over a year now. i just called again 10/24/2017 and they keep telling me the same thing. the airbags for my model they do not have yet but i am on their list to call when they come in. i've bern on that list since april 2016.

tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2008 bmw 328. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v071000 (air bags) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the dealer was contacted at: advantage bmw, houston, tx, and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. the contact had not experienced a failure. parts distribution disconnect.
