Tl* the contact owns a 2013 audi a8l. the contact stated the brake pedal was installed too close to the side wall on the floor board. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that was a manufacturer design with the brake pedal installation. the manufacturer was notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 300....updated 05/08/13 *bf the consumer stated after further investigation with the dealer, it was determined that the spacing between the brake pedal and the footwell side wall was different between 2011 and 2013 model years. the loss of 3/4 of an inch is wat is causing the failure. updated 05/30/2013 *js
