While driving with the driver's seatbelt latched, i received a warning/reminder to fasten the seatbelt. after several seconds, the chime and warning message stopped. i took the vehicle into the dealership and they replaced the seatbelt receptacle.
Sensors in driver seat failed, causing the airbag light to light, signaling to the car that the seatbelt was not latched. this was an incessant problem throughout a drive. this happened 3 times, the first two times the dealer only reset the light. this last time, they replaced the entire drivers seat.
