Takata recall: i am still waiting for the second repair to be made on my vehicle regarding this recall. i truly don't feel safe driving my car knowing there is a possibility of the airbag exploding harmful objects into my face in the case of an accident. i am repeatedly being told the manufacturer has not produced the parts for my local audi dealership to finish the repair work. i'm wondering what the hold up is, and what i can do as a driver to protect myself in the meantime? is there a timeline that manufacturers have to complete recall services, and if so, when is that time up? how is this acceptable?
