The tire pressure monitoring system (tpms) goes off 2-10 times a month saying "system function error" and all wheels on the vehicle show a pressure of "--" versus the normal display of the psi in the tires. dealers tell me nothing is wrong and problem isn't reproducible. *tr

Michelin pilot hx mxm4 came installed on my 2010 acura tsx. at 220 miles tire developed a bubble, and at 280 miles went flat. tire was replaced at a cost of $208, there was a tear in the sidewall. i had the car for less than 2 weeks, drove it extremely carefully (no hard braking, acceleration, and certainly did not hit any curbs or pot holes). these tires are dangerous and if it was not for the on board tire pressure management i would have driven the vehicle with a flat tire and potentially crashed. *tr
