1999 acura 3.2tl. air control pressure causing accident *gr the consumer was involved in a rollover accident. the accident was caused by the sudden loss of air pressure in the right front tire. it happened in a lane of travel with no warning. the consumer had the tires put on the vehicle on march 31, 2008. the consumer stated the valve stems were defective and there was a silent recall and he wanted to know why the public was not informed of the recall. *jb the consumer would like a response to his complaint. updated 05/24/10 the consumer believed the tire valve stems were defective on his vehicle, in which he lost control and consequently, a little boy that was in his vehicle died. updated 07/30/14
'99 acura tl w/michelin mxv4 tires at 65k miles. two of the tires showed clear beginning of tread separation at around 65k miles. inspection: deep cut-like separation around the entire sidewall at the tread seam to sidewall area. michelin dealer found while doing routine tire rotation and replaced with same tire for a prorated price.
Consumer was traveling about 10mph and hit a curb several times while making a right turn. in the process, passenger's side tire blewout. this incident happened twice. *ak *ml
