The takata recall (#16v078) occurred over 1 year ago on february 9, 2016, and there is still no fix. per this recall, driving my car is dangerous, and has been now for over a year. vw has provided no updates on the availability or potential timing of a fix.

Takata recall. i leased this vehicle and then purchased it from the dealer. he sold it to me after the airbag issues were known and did not advise me of that before purchase. also i have been given no date on which the deadly airbags will be fixed. i was notified in february 2016. i am afraid my car will be hit and the airbags will kill me. when is something going to be done to force vw to give its car owners a loaner until this issue is fixed?

Takata recall. after being informed my vehicle is subject to the takata recall, the dealership has refused to rectify the situation time and time again. i fear everyday for my life because of this situation and the dealership continues to deny responsibility. please help! i will not wait for a catastrophe to happen for them to do anything about it. my life is definitely in their hands and my safety is their responsibility.
Takata recall vw is dragging their feet and pushing back on the nhtsa about this recall and the public is suffering over it. i called both douglas vw summit, nj and vw of america corp offices and no one knows when this will be available to fix. meanwhile my wife rides around with a grenade in front of her. vw corp refused me a loaner until they get this fix available. meanwhile yet another tragic death in texas from the shrapnel cutting the jugular vein and corroded artery of this poor girl. who is next, while vw drags their feet. recall notice was dec 2015 or jan 2016
Takata airbag-my car has not been reported as being in florida year round. i do not see it as a priority on the .pdf list of vehicles being prioritized for repair. my car has always been in a high humidity zone in south florida and i have owned it since oct 2014. i want it replaced as it is high risk and could kill me and my kids.
