Unknown what has caused this, it seems as if the windows on my 2004 toyota tundra double cab will fall out or just break if a door is closed and the respective window is not all the way up. should you forget you will be reminded by the horrible sound and the excessive movement the window makes when you close the door or forget to roll up the window when you drive this vehicle. the only fix i have found is to not leave your windows down and to always have them all the way up. this problem is not only annoying but is clearly a distraction while operating truck. *tr
A week ago, rear window of 2004 toyota tundra had popped out of the vehicle while driving on an off ramp. i've contacted the toyota company, but all they offered is to replace the window, and i am liable to pay for the labor and rental car. i've repeatly told the company rep. it's manufacturer's defect, but they would not accept it. no injuries occured (4 people in the vehicle at the time of the incident), but pretty shaken up.*ak
The 2004 double cab tundra defroster only works on outside air, when in traffic the carbon monoxide comes into the vehicle making it dangerous and unpleasant. there needs to be a solution to clear the windshield with recirculated air. i do not enjoy driving the vehicle when the windshield fogs up and i have to use outside air to defrost. *la
