However, after this procedure, you'll need to replace the stripped-off layer of the headlight. There are three ways you can do this:

Polish - dab a bit onto a rag and give the headlight a thorough wiping;

Silicon spray - apply a nice even layer on the headlight;

Clear varnish - apply a thin, uniform layer on the surface of the headlight.
