Problems with 2004 Toyota RAV4 CHILD SEAT

On average, the 2004 Toyota RAV4 starts to “feel” problems with the CHILD SEAT and its various aspects after 50 000 miles.

Recently reported CHILD SEAT problems on 2004 Toyota RAV4

Dt*: the contact stated while the child was restrained in a safety seat, the child's left thumb became trapped inside the slot for a removable cup holder that attached to the seat. the contact attempted to remove the occupant's finger from the slot, but after several attempts the thumb could not be removed. the child inside the seat was transported to a local hospital where the safety seat was literally cut off of the occupant's thumb. minor injuries were sustained. the child safety seat was a cosco alpha omega, model # 22-151-bla; date of manufacture was nov. 14, 2005. the manufacturer was notified.
