The car's hid headlamp just goes out sporadically. so far, it is "solved" by turning headlamps off and on again; but it repeats itself. the front right strut was broken shortly after we bought the car (55 days ago) and needed replacement. we replaced strut.

Traveling straight ahead, ~30mph on city street , front tire (michelin dt008-35670-mi, 185/65r15) blew for unknown reason. car swerved to right into utility pole, removing right front wheel, wheel connections, fender, headlight. (car "totaled" by insurer.) steering wheel airbag activated. driver (sole occupant) suffered fractures of right hand, wrist, 3 ribs and sternum, apparently due to impact of airbag. driver was wearing belt/harness.

Hit a bump in the road and leaf springs broke on rear of car. car became severely slanted to one side. *tr

Driving at 65 mph in heavy evening traffic the right rear strut failed when the retainer nut and spacer came off and the strut/shock absorber came off the mount. i lost control of the prius but managed to pull off to the highway shoulder without a crash. *tr

I pressed on the brakes in an emergency situation and there was a slight delay between when the brake pedal was depressed and when the brakes grabbed. i ended up striking the car in front of me. i have the license plate of the car i hit etched in my front bumper. 2007 toyota prius. *tr

My 2007 toyota prius has the same problem the 2010 has. when i go over bumps the car loses traction on the road even when the road is dry. it is very scary. *tr
