Cruise control malfunction, traction control malfunction, collision radar warning system malfunction. dealer was unable to solve issue. transmition vibration when changing from 2nd to 3rd & back from 3rd to 2nd gear. all safety equipment, specifically cruise control, traction control, lane departure warning, collision warning are turned off & an error warning is visible on the dash, dealer service department claims it is an unknown issue but 8 other toyota owners brought their car in the same day, we had a disscusion while waiting & drinking coffee.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 toyota corolla. while driving 40 mph, the crash avoidance sensor malfunctioned. the contact stated that the sensor did not apply the brakes or detect that the vehicle was too close to another vehicle. the dealer repaired the vehicle, but the failure recurred. the dealer refreshed the sensor software in the vehicle, but this did not correct the failure. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 800.
