My vehicle's air conditioner (2004 toyota corolla) is not working properly. the system will work for a few moments (blowing out cold air) and then will start blowing warm to hot air. the fan still works, there is no loud noises and i can hear the compressor engage when i turn the system on. i have researched this problem on the internet and have found that many other people are having the exact same problem and that bringing this fact to your attention many result in a recall of the unit. i have also read that toyota has added and extra plastic piece to the a/c condenser on 2007-2009 models. thank you for reading this and for standing up for consumers. *tr
A/c failed, stopped cooling, the clutch is inoperative, a/c clutch does not engage. *nm
Appears that the drl system mandated by dot can not be deactivated. all military installations madate that a vehicle's headlights be turned off when oing through the security check points. currently on a 2004 toyota corolla. this is impossible. can not find a dealer who will modify the system due to dot regulations. dot, dod, and homeland security need to invoke a mandatory requirement that all vehicle manufacturer's provide an override switch. number of complaints are growing and i am more than sure that citations will be issued. getting frustrated trying to explain that the headlights can not be turned off.*ak
The accuracy of the vehicle's odometer is poor. *nm *tc
On three occasions the vehicle would not start, as a result of a drained battery. 1st time the dealer replaced the battery, 2nd time the dealer stated that the alarm system had a short wire and was fixed. the 3rd time just occured and we are having the car towed to the dealer.*ak
