Toyota camry solara convertible equipped with 17" wheels and bridgestone turanza p215/55r17 mud and snow tires have experienced two sidewall failures at approximately 800 miles and 1700 miles requiring tire replacement. unsure of exact cause of failure, potentially road imperfections or curb bumps, (no damage to alloy wheels) . both happened at low speed ramifications if high speed could be significantly worse. these "low profile" tires are not appropriate for all driving conditions and can be potentially dangerous and should be replaced.*ak
