The vehicle's rear window defroster, which i believe is a required safety item in nj, does not work. per toyota, entire convertible top must be replaced to repair window, and the new defroster does not work either. toyota refuses to acknowledge that this is a design flaw and refuses to replace the top under warranty or repair the window so that the defroster works. this problem with the solara convertible has been an ongoing problem spanning many years, starting with 2004 model. *tr
