When my car is switched into reverse or drive, it will jerk very loudly then proceed to not switch into any gears higher than 3rd. sometimes when i go into reverse, it will jerk and swing back quickly with little acceleration. it has continued for 5 months - looking online so many others are having this problem with this faulty piece of equipment. *tr

I was going to start driving and when i shifted into reverse the shift screen got all jumbled and made a loud clunking noise, then reversed and went into drive and the car would hardly drive at all the rpm's were close to 2500 and car hardly moving at first, thought it was the transmission itself and found out that it is the transmission range sensor by multiple people having the same issue. did not have the issue with it happening while driving yet but i have a kid to worry about! *tr

Transmission jerking when shifting to 2nd to 3rd gear codes are p0783, p0741, p0700. *tr

I have had problems with my 2006 suzuki verona for the past 2 1/2 years. we have owned if for almost 3 1/2. we took it back to the dealer just a year after owning it complaining of a clunking noise. all they did was update the software on it. they would not fix it unless a light was on. it would not generate a code back then, according to the dealership. now 2 1/2 years later, they say the transmission range sensor is bad. after reading several forums, it sounds like this happens a lot on this type of car and suzuki's in general. it is scheduled for repair next tuesday. *tr
