Spontaneous windshield crack developed. started in front of the steering wheel column, goes up 3-4 inches, turns and goes across the bottom of the ws to a point in front of the glove box. no evidence of an impact chip. crack may have started when the front defroster and seat heaters were both on. subaru refused to repair under warranty or product defect provision.
