I have a 2014 dodge ram 1500 laramie limited with the air suspension option. i bought it 11 months ago. it was winter when i bought it, and on the test drive, i attempted to adjust the suspension level and immediately got the warning message that the air suspension needed to be serviced. they took it into their service bay and replaced the fuse, which temporarily resolved the issue. as the weather remained cold, however, i got the same message again, so contacted the dealer and took it back in. i ended up having to take it back in multiple times, with them "insulating a part of the system and updating the ecu". as the weather warmed up through the spring and summer, no issues. fast forward to this winter, once the weather dropped below freezing, the service air suspension light came back on. i checked all fuses, and none were blown, which seems to be the common fault that causes this error message. i pulled them and replaced them to try to reset the system, and the system tried lower the truck, then raise it, to the point where it finally stopped with the front end completely lowered on the bump stops, and the back end in off-road 2. the height indicator stated it was in off-road 2, even at highway speeds, even though that height is not supposed to be able to be maintained at highway speeds. the system also continues to try to raise and lower on it's own, doing so for up to an hour at a time while driving. all that being said, the vehicle is back at the dealer for repairs, even though the forums i've found state there is currently not a permanent solution from fca. this appears to be a widespread problem in any climate that drops below freezing after doing some research online, resulting in damage to vehicles and loss of control of the vehicle in some instances. i hope no one has to lose their life in order for this to demand a resolution from fca.
The first time i hade any problems with the air ride suspension was when the tempuras got below freezing. now i can be driving down the highway and my truck will lower all the way down without any warning. this makes the truck to loos control going down the road at high speeds. i have hade it in the shop to get it fixed but it still is doing the same thing.i seen on line where other people has hade the same thing happen while driving. it will also lower its self all the waqy down to exit mode while parked at times
Getting warning to immediately service air supension system, while driving on a highway. checked obd-ii reader and zero codes come up. read ram forums with several complainst, all stating issue when temperatures were near freezing. mine started to show messages after outside temperature dropped to and below freezing.
Air suspension system failed. the issue happens at random and can be stationary or traveling at highway speeds. all air is emptied from the system causing the vehicle to bounce around uncontrollably at highway speeds. the frame of the truck will be resting on the axle directly. i took the truck to the ram dealer for repair and after several attempts, changing out serval components they can not figure out why the truck is loosing air. the dealer now tells me that without a code in the system they can not repair it even though i show them pictures with date and time that the system is malfunctioning and the frame is sitting directly on the axle.
Suspension system (air bags) go out. the system completely shuts down and truck will hit the road (even flat new road) really hard with any bump. usually it starts with one side the driver back side and eventually both air bags go out. is very dangerous because if a little bump can manage to move my steering, a big pot hole can make my whole truck changes lanes. the system detects the malfunction after 3 uses and says "suspension overheated" suspension cooling". this happen every day for the last 2 months . the more use in the day, the more pull, the more weight, it goes out. i can't use the truck for what is for and now is only a carpool truck. dodge ram longhorn 2014
The incident happened while i was driving home on i40 in amarillo texas. i was doing 75 mph and my truck lowered all the way to the entry exit setting on the air ride suspension. i had literally no suspension. as i was trying to slow down and trying to pull over i hit a bump in the road. my truck literally bounced like a low rider and my head hit the ceiling. i lost control when the front wheels hit the ground and almost crashed into the car next to me. i was finally able to come to a complete stop and my service air suspension immediately light came on. now my air ride suspension will not raise up and cannot drive my car because it bounces uncontrollably. i was researching this problem and reading on dodge ram forums that this is very common for these trucks. this is very dangerous and a serious matter. it could have easily cost me or somebody else our life! this was very scary! dodge needs to do something about this to make this right!
Air suspension will freeze up in negative temperatures. when this happens while driving truck over bumps, causes vehicle to lose stability/traction on the road, especially on icy roads - causing high risk for an accident.
The air ride suspension in all of these trucks are failing in canadian cold climates. my truck is consistently riding on the bump stops when it's cold out causing a very rough ride that is not good for the vehicle or the passengers. let alone the control of the vehicle is diminished with zero suspension. when it gets cold (-15 or so) i walk outside to see my trucks front end all the way lowered with the rear still at normal height. warming up truck doesn't help. the ride height buttons just flash and warning signs sometimes display on the dash. many people (including me) then get blown fuses or the compressor fails and then there is no fix but to go to dealer. dodge replaced my air ride components but it did not resolve the issue. i fear for the coming year when my vehicle is out of warranty and driving with my kids and i am driving around with no suspension. there is enough people that have these same issues as i've described to warrant a recall. there are class action law suits in the usa over this issue. there is a facebook group describing these failures further. group is called fca ram pickup air suspension failures. it is unfathomable that i am supposed to be driving around in a vehicle with my kids in a truck that i've paid many thousands of dollars for that doesn't have suspension and no help from dodge. this should be a big issue. someone is going to have a bad accident because of this.
Air ride suspension froze up when temps went below zero. air ride drops to bump stops while driving causing hazardous driving conditions, which has happened to us while hundreds of miles from home. with no suspension hitting any type of bumps causes the vehicle to bounce any direction and very difficult to control, and is hard on the back. it will rise and act properly then just drop to bump stops in a short time with no warning. the problem has happened while on the highway, and city streets in motion. the component in question is the is the enclosed nitrogen air ride suspension controlling the compressor and air bags.
This truck has the optional air suspension, which will not function in cold weather. the compressor and lines get polluted with moisture which freezes, causing the pump to not work and control valves to stick. the result is the truck has no suspension whatsoever. warming the truck up in the shop restores functionality temporarily. the dealership and fca itself will only replace components, which does not remedy the problem. i have started a facebook action group that has numerous other owners with the exact same problem. fca will not recall or claim responsibility for their defective product.
Dodge ram steering recall alert- this same situation happened to me in my model 2014 dodge ram 1500 big horn. recall needs to be extended the nut holding the steering knuckle and right control arm separated while driving. i felt a huge pop and jerk of the steering wheel. luckily i was traveling at a low rate of speed. i took to suncoast dodge dealer immediately, he said i was lucky i could if i was on the freeway which i was shortly before. he said he has never seen a nut fall off before, but it did and, could rolled and caused serious accident. i was charged for repair and picked up truck today 2/5 then saw recall for this exact situation released today by chrysler fiat, but my vehicle was not included.
Air suspension does not work in the cold. has been back at the dealer many times. new compressor new shocks and still the problem.
We own a 2014 ram 1500 laramie. it is 3.22.19, since jan 4th 2019 we have had 4 new compressors installed and we just got our truck back after 1 month of not having it and it failed again for the 5th time after driving it 15 miles. we are completely disappointed in the design of the air ride suspension in this truck. we are now at a loss because we have not had our truck for 3 months and still making payments on it and cannot drive it. this is unacceptable for a dealership to sell a 28,000 truck that you can't use or drive.
The trucks air ride suspension will not work correctly in cold conditions on a highway or in a stationary position .the automatic air suspension will give out and the truck will feel like it is riding on the frame and controlling the vehicle is compromised.the system will also return back to normal functions with warmer weather.brought truck to dealer and they clear the fault codes and say air suspension is working normal.read a lot about other ram trucks with the same problems.
Air suspension fails in cold weather, sometimes turns off traction control and provides a rough ride in ice and snow, making the vehicle less safe. this occurs in all types of driving and has been a problem since i bought it.
Fuel leak at inside bend of metal fuel line. factory defect. fuel leak at several injectors whee it meets manifold. glow plug module and glow plugs constantly failing. water pump leak and replaced. air suspension inoperable. vehicle well maintained and only 32,000 miles
The factory "air ride" suspension fails in cold weather. the air bags completely deflate, leaving the vehicle with no suspension. losing all suspension ability while driving is a serious risk to life. encountering small potholes or icy roads without suspension increases the likelihood of wrecks. the lowering of the suspension changes the steering geometry required to properly steer a vehicle on the roads. camber, caster, and toe of the steering geometry are negatively effected and will result in increased likelihood of wrecks. i took my vehicle into the local dodge dealerships in alaska and they acknowledge the air ride suspension does not function here but cannot make repairs. i called dodge corporate line and they ask me to take it back to the same dealerships that inform me that there is no fix. please issue a recall on the ram 1500 air ride suspension as this is a serious risk to life allowing these vehicles to operate in cold climates.
My ram 1500 began having issues with the air ride suspension in the winter of 2017 and finally started to where it wouldn't raise back up when it was cold. i had the entire compressor replaced january or february of 2018. now in november of 2018 i'm having the same issues again. the compressor is making a weird noise as well as the driver side suspension sounds like it's rubbing or something not good. it only does this once the temperature gets in the 30s or lower. once it goes down and won't raise back up there's only about a half inch between the tire and wheel well. not a cheap fix and definitely not worth keeping the truck if this is gonna happen every winter. was replaced at mchugh dodge jeep in zanesville, ohio.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. the contact stated that the front passenger side wheel bearing fractured without warning. the vehicle was towed to boerne dodge chrysler jeep ram (30300 i-10, boerne, tx 78006, (830) 443-9153 and (830) 443-9432) who replaced the front passenger wheel bearing. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 159,389.
I've been having problems with the air ride suspension on my 2014 dodge ram longhorn and i fear this problem could result into a major issue for myself and my children. i've looked online and there several people who have the same problem. please help! i don't want this issue to have any catastrophic problems for myself and my kids that i take take to and from school. also this vehicle has to get me to and from work. please respond and help. the first time of the malfunction myself and kids where in motion headed to school and the rear suspension completely went out. the truck was bouncing very hard and we could feel every bump in the road. the second time i was on the highway driving to work and it did the same thing. i pulled over and called tow truck and my husband had to pick me up and drive me to work. the third time i was headed to take my kids to school and the truck was low on the ground so i started it to see if it would rise up but nothing happened and it was still driving really bad making every bump feel like i would loose control of the vehicle. i feel this is very unsafe and i need help.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. while driving various speeds, the rear differential made a loud abnormal noise. there was no warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the rear differential needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vin was not included in any recalls and referred the contact to nhtsa. the approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
Tl* the contact owned a 2014 ram 1500. while driving 74 mph, an abnormal noise was heard. the contact stopped the vehicle as the front suspension exploded. the contact noticed flames under the hood. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the fire department was called and extinguished the fire. a police report was filed and the report indicated that the front suspension caused the fire. the contact sustained a burned hand, but no medical attention was required. the vehicle was towed to a tow lot and deemed destroyed. the manufacturer was notified and did not assist. the failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
I live in northern minnesota. the air suspension began having problems the first winter i owned the truck. the suspension would not operate properly during negative temperatures. i brought it in to get serviced several times, and i was told it is normal during negative temperatures. this past winter, the 40 amp fuse for the suspension started blowing. it has now blown three times this winter, and the last two times as barely been below freezing. it has blown twice in the last 24 hours. when the fuse blows, the truck, dangerously, lowers to the stops. it does not handle properly or safely under these conditions.
In cold weather the air suspension fails and the front passenger side falls down to bump stop creating zero suspension and major safety issue. the truck failed at the airport 60 miles from my home. in trying to get home i was driving 50 mph in a 75 mph zone and hit a patch of rough road and some snow and the truck went side ways 7/8 times before i was able to regain control. the truck has 33,000 miles and the bill to repair the compressor for the air suspension was $2,600. no help from fort collins dodge.
Vehicle is used in upstate ny. when the temperature drops, the suspension doesn't operate correctly. unable to adjust for smooth ride
Cspc: vehicles dropping in motion is a very dire/serious safety concerns, we have personally experienced this during both winters. dt *js *tt *js
Rference multiple reports forwarded to your office surrounding ram's air-ride suspension systems'. these major concerns were first reported in early 2017 after returning to alaska. an official letter was sent to the fca group-italy, fca ceo, & their board of directors surrounding these life threatening incidents. while commuting on an arctic alaskan day "-40 degrees+" my ram instantly dropped while in motion, all safety equipment became unresponsive leaving me to skid in traffic to a stop. thank god no one was hurt during this experience. the vehicle was immediately taken to gene's chrysler, after sitting for days (being told there is no fix for this), fca was officially notified. gene's chrysler servicing agents stated that these issues where reported to fca but they don't know what to do about it. i asked why we were not informed by all the dealership servicing agents from colorado to washington to alaska when our ram was taken in for the many recalls? after days of sitting, the dealership servicing agents stated that a technician team had visited alaska a few months ago and they wanted to try something. a list of parts where exchanged, fuses replaced, and codes reset. after a few test drives they stated the vehicle should be good for awhile but they were not sure if this would permanently fix these issues. asking if the vehicle was completely safe (vehicle transports personnel for school & ministry) to operate, we were told they were not 100% sure but if the issue returned, bring it back to them immediately. time and time again, the dealership servicing team stated that fca was not too concerned because alaska is only a small population of their consumer base. we contacted fca again to remind them winters' arctic weather would return soon, that we needed dire assistance for safety reasons. jan-feb 2018, we'd relive this experience again! *js
The vehicle defaults to the entry/exit mode in the air suspension system in cold weather and is undrivable. dodge is away of the issue and to fix the problem you have to purchase a new air suspension control module for $1100. if this is a known issue that is a factory defect why isn't this a recall?
My ram 1500 air suspension has failed on several occasions, leaving the front end of the truck sagging down on the rubber bump stops. this condition leaves me with no suspension in the front, often when away from home. this condition has left me on the highway with adverse handling characteristics, such as shuddering of the front end. i have had this in the shop at the dealer on several occasions, the first time for over a month. the service department manager acknowledges a problem, but told me there is "no fix" until ram comes up with one. this condition only happens in below freezing temperatures and goes away when temperatures rise. there are many other owners reporting the same problem, with the same responses from their dealers. this problem has created a very unsafe condition for me, personally, and others have reported this happening while underway, with one whole side of their vehicle dropping while underway. i'm hoping this doesn't happen to me. when will fca be held responsible for this known safety issue? soon, i hope.
This is the third event or incident surrounding this air ride suspension system: 1. the first incident was in jan 2017 after getting up to alaska. this time almost caused a major accident. without warning, the vehicle fell while driving and slid out in traffic. the seatbelt locked in place and malfunctioned. gene's chrysler ended up changing out some of the hardware and parts. 2. the second incident was not as bad on november 2017, this time the warning lights came on. after allowing the truck to sit a few days waiting for chrysler to provide an appointment, and changing all the fuses, the suspension raised up again. 3. time number 3 was on january 31, 2018. this time, the truck was towed to gene's chrysler on february 01, 2018. the vehicle fell to the ground again and was not moving the speed limit because of slower traffic conditions. right now, the truck is still in the shop because more parts need to be replaced and the dealership is waiting on the manufacturers' recall for this air ride suspension system. we are very concerned about our team out there in alaska but now, this is happening to vehicles all over the country during real cold weather. it's like a national crisis now and needs everyone in the transportation department to please do something before someone dies because of these malfunctions and the defective air ride system. now that it has been 40 days without our ministry having their vehicle in alaska, what will nhtsa do to help our pastor and ministry up there? it is so sad that no one seems to care until all these reports of injuries and even deaths, will the government step in and help the people now? also, will you please call the fca and the dealership service people to ask how much longer, another 10 days is too long? thank you for allowing us share what's going on & hope we will hear back from you more sooner than later
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. while the vehicle was being driven or parked, the air ride suspension deflated when the temperature was below freezing. the service air suspension warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to lee chrysler jeep dodge ram (765 center st, auburn, me 04210, (207) 783-2291) where it was diagnosed that the nitrogen was low. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to nhtsa. the failure mileage was 60,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. the contact stated that the air suspension was drooping down while the vehicle was in motion or in a stopped position. the dealer (brickner's of wausau, 2525 grand ave, wausau, wi 54403, (715) 842-4646) stated that they could not find a failure, but speculated that the cold weather may have caused to suspension to droop. the dealer suggested that the contact park the vehicle in a garage. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 65,000.
I took my 2014 dodge ram 1500 2wd crew cab into the dealership for oil change. previously i had complained about a popping and clicking noise in the front end when i turned the steering wheel. the noise came from the front wheels. i mentioned this today at my scheduled oil change and they checked for a problem once again. this time they found that the driver side control arm bolt (1 of 2) was almost completely out. the nut that is supposed to hold it in place is gone. picture attached. not related but just as bad was a passenger side ball joint boot that was cracked and leaking, causing me to have to replace that ball joint. i bought the truck new and have never wrecked it or had any reason to remove the front suspension arms. in my opinion this is a severe safety defect(s) and could have resulted in a bad accident. most of my time is spent in the truck at highway speeds as i have a job that involves a lot of time on the road. the original problem started before the truck had 50k miles. the problem was identified by a technician at the dealership today on 8/29/17, while the truck has approximately 88k miles on the odometer.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. while the vehicle was at a shop for an oil change, an independent mechanic noticed that the ball joint was faulty and needed to be replaced. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the dealer was contacted (franklin chrysler/dodge in farmington, maine) and informed the contact to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the contact also stated that he did not receive the recall notification for nhtsa campaign number: 17v302000 (air bags). the failure mileage was 32,000. parts distribution disconnect.
This truck wobbles at speeds of 80 miles per hour.
My truck has the "4-corner air suspension" which was standard on my model. it repeatedly fails when the temperature gets below freezing. it will typically drop the front end very low and sometimes even the rear end. this happens while parked or driving. it is terrifying to drive when this happens - bumps nearly throw you off the road and steering is unpredictable. i cannot find a dealer that is sure they can fix it, and the proposed "maybe" fixes are upwards of $2000. i cannot safely get to work some days and i never know when it will happen. this has been going on for 2 winters - when i was still under warranty the dealer told me fca has no fix and i should just ignore it until it warms up. i cannot control the climate. the most common warning indicated on the dash is "service or repair air suspension immediately" which is ridiculous since i might be hundreds of miles from home and the dealer won't repair it anyways. the second most common warning is that the payload has been exceeded. this will come up even with the truck empty. everyone i have spoken to that has this suspension reports the same scary experiences and fca has not offered a fix to any of them. i cannot afford to trade it and i cannot afford to keep it. please help!
The air suspension freezes up when it gets below zero. i do a lot of ice fishing, the reason i bought this truck, and i've had to drive with various corners of the vehicle having no suspension. one time, it happened while driving down the interstate at 75mph, the whole front end dropped to the frame and i almost crashed because i didn't know what was going on right away. it has been happening since i bought the truck a year ago. to date it's been in the shop 5 times and the compressor finally burnt out.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. while the vehicle was stationary, the air suspension warning indicator remained illuminated. in addition, the transmission malfunctioned while in the fourth wheel drive position. the vehicle overheated without warning. the vehicle was taken to be repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 85,819.
Theirs a lot of recalls they don't fix them and i'm scare of driving the truck.
I believe our truck should be part of most of the recalls listed fo ram trucks. our tires are wearing on the outside, they won't fix. the transmission was replaced at twenty some thousands miles, and my wife being the primary driver said that when you come to a complete stop the truck sometimes jumps forward. the rear differential seal was replaced. i'm afraid that we might lose our wheels on the road. there is also a chemical smell coming from the engine that everyone can smell but the dealer. currently working with chrysler and been driving a rental for almost a month.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. the contact stated that the vehicle made an abnormal noise. upon further inspection, the contact noticed the front driver rotor's calipers moved while being inspection. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed as the front hub and the bearing units needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the vehicle. the contact referenced nhtsa campaign number: 07v038000 (suspension) however the vehicle was not included. the failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
Vehicle air suspension engages to raise and/or lower vehicle at random intervals after the vehicle is stationary, in "park", and the engine is turned off. the vehicle key fob nor any other owner prompts are used to cause the issue. the interval period between when the vehicle is parked and turned off and the air suspension engagement to raise and/or lower the vehicle can range from several minutes to hours.

Reference odi #10715810 reference # 829794 i own a 2014 ram 1500 tradesman black express, i lodged a complaint in march 2015 regarding rapid and irregular front tire wear at only 7,035 miles. then began the saga of trying to get suspension corrected. front end alignment and tire rotation was performed at 7,035 miles, front end alignment was found to be out of spec. (this service was performed at an independent service facility.) at 9.803 detected same wear pattern, alignment was in spec.by same independent repair facility. ram customer care directed me to daytona dodge, another alignment was performed, however tracking on road was impaired. at 10,450 miles. ram customer care directed me to flagler dodge where another alignment was performed, front end alignment was out of spec and corrected at 10,608 miles. tire irregular tire wear continued, ram customer care suggested a four wheel road force tire balance, which i paid for at my own expense. weight adjustment of 1/4 oz on three wheels and 1/2 oz on one wheel, no change in tire wear. filed notice of defective vehicle with mfg. mfg. had their final attempt to repair at 13,019 miles. checked under body for damage, none reported, test drove, normal tracking, ordered alignment, was found to be in spec. had lemon law arbitration board hearing scheduled for 8/27/15, mfg. filed amended answer to board 5 days before hearing asserting "no defense" and wished to enter private negotiations. mfg. is is not willing to negotiate fair settlement, attempting to short refund me $7,339.00 on vehicle buy back. mfg is trying to avoid having case heard before arbitration board, but is dictating settlement instead of negotiating. presented mfg. with ultimatum, with deadline of 9/18/15, if not resolved it will be decided by arbitration board for settlement. if you are having same issue call me: [xxx]. parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *cc
Traveling west on i-4, orlando, fl between sand lake road and exit to 528e at 1:25 pm in left hand lane. as i attempted to change lanes to the right i accelerated slightly and felt a "thump" (the only way i can describe it) through the steering wheel and the truck suddenly accelerated and fish tailed. i lost control for that instant and my truck struck the vehicle to my left in the rear by the tail lights on the passenger side. i was able to regain control of my truck and pull to the side of the road as did the other vehicle. my complaint centers on why the truck suddenly accelerated; what was the "thump" that i felt; is there a problem with the transmission (new design for 2014) and the rear differential; what would cause this sudden acceleration? have there been other complaints of this nature on this or other chrysler models? please respond asap.
I was driving along on route 220 near lock haven pa in which they are doing construction there is uneven payment pot holes etc i was doing 45 mph at the time due to construction zone when i hit a pot hole i heard a loud pop noise so i immediately pulled over looked at my truck didn't see anything so i continued driving apon arriving at my home ten mile up the road i noticed steering was funny once in my driveway i looked over my truck again to my surprise i found a crack on the knuckle at the upper ball joint the knuckle had cracked right at the upper ball joint on the casting seam i called dealership and they said they haven't heard of such a thing after hrs of arguing with them to fix it i had it towed to the dealership where they had the truck for a week and told me it wasn't covered under warranty keep in mind i only had the truck for 2-3 months and it should of been covered i know dodge has had issues in the past with suspension problems and i find it a great concern as this could of caused a serious crash very disappointed with dodge at this point i'd rather not even keep the truck as i feel it's not very safe
Vehicle vibrates. dealer has attempted to fix it 7 times, and now says it is operating as designed.
I was driving my dodge ram 1500 from milwaukee, wi to memphis, tn on a vacation. while driving at speeds in excess of 80 mph, i noticed a lot of shaking and vibrating from the steering wheel thru the entire cab of the truck. i noticed the same thing when driving back home from memphis. i had taken my truck back to the dealer at an earlier date, however the dealership stated that they didn't notice any vibrating when they drove the truck. they did share that they could not drive my vehicle at excessive speeds, however gave me the same information in my latest complaint on 7/23/2015. i shared my concerns prior to hearing about the current recall on dodge ram 1500 trucks and hope that my vehicle doesn't have any safety issues that could lead to injury.
While driving the vehicle home from, after hitting the speed limit of 65, the vehicle started to shimmy, side to side, and continued at a higher speed. i called the dealer, and returned the truck to have it serviced, but it did not help. i was told it was flat spots on the tires, and to give it some time. after almost 4000 miles, and 4 visits back for service, i was told there was nothing they could do. all the trucks ride the same. after further investigation, i found out through various forums, that a lot of people are having the same problem, and if the tires are changed out, the problem will go away. the dealer refused to change out the tires. the tires in question are goodyear wrangler sr-a, size p275/60r20.
