Problems with 2000 Nissan Sentra ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

While driving, consumer experienced a mechanical failure/malfunction, which forced him to cross over 2 lanes to the curb, damaging the passengers side, once the vehicle was towed, it was then determined that the cause of malfunction was a pending recall (01v2770000) in which the consumer was never notified.*jb dealer replaced crank sensor according to recall. *tt

There is recall 01v35700 for stalling . consumer took vehicle to dealership for recall repairs, but the remedy did not work, problem still occurs.*ak

While driving home from work car stalled. after restarting the car had very little pick up and was no longer registering rpm's. the dealership said that the idler pulley had failed.*ak

Engine cooling fan stopped working, and vehicle over heated. contacted dealer, and dealer stated that they could no look at vehicle until 24th of this month. please provide more information. *ak

Catalylic converter was defective because fuel that ran through the catalytic converter. *ak consumer also stated the ignition coil on #3 cylinder failed, cutting off spark plug, fuel/air continued through exhaust system, overheating catalytic convertor, also warning light activated.*slc

Belt extender arm on engine separated from vehicle. vehicle is at dealership.*ak

Temperature meter was on( h). consumer went to lift up hood, and coolant was all over engine. also, vehicle pulled to right. dealership is aware of problem.*ak

While driving 60 mph vehicle stalled. dealer indicated that the engine sensor failed. a recall was issued. however, this vehicle was not included in the recall due to vin. *ak

While traveling on highway vehicle shu down without prior warning. engine check light came on. *ak

Vehicle smokes right after a oil change is done, this is due to the oil filter plug being right above catalytic converter. consumer can actually hear the oil popping on the catalytic converter after the oil change is done.*ak

Engine is making a rattling sound during acceleration, stops when vehicle reaches 40-45 mph. taken to 2 dealer who said to wait and see if it stops doing it, since vehicle has a 5 year warranty.*ak the dealer acknowledged that something was wrong within the engine, but could not determine what it was. *yh
