2000 nissan sentra experiencing problems with brake equipment, engine sensors and e.c.m. connector.*mr nhtsa recall campaign 01v357000 concerning crank position sensor. after having the crank position sensor replaced the problem recurred. while driving 40 mph check engine light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and consumer was informed that the crank position sensor needed to be replaced again. the vehicle circuit cluster failed causing the odometer, fuel gauge and temp gauge to fail. the rotors warped causing pulsation while braking *nm
While driving 65 mph vehicle completely shutdown without warning. also, steering locked up, nearly resulting in a collision , cause unknown. please give any further details. *ak
Catalylic converter was defective because fuel that ran through the catalytic converter. *ak consumer also stated the ignition coil on #3 cylinder failed, cutting off spark plug, fuel/air continued through exhaust system, overheating catalytic convertor, also warning light activated.*slc
Belt extender arm on engine separated from vehicle. vehicle is at dealership.*ak
Temperature meter was on( h). consumer went to lift up hood, and coolant was all over engine. also, vehicle pulled to right. dealership is aware of problem.*ak

While traveling on highway vehicle shu down without prior warning. engine check light came on. *ak
Vehicle smokes right after a oil change is done, this is due to the oil filter plug being right above catalytic converter. consumer can actually hear the oil popping on the catalytic converter after the oil change is done.*ak
Engine is making a rattling sound during acceleration, stops when vehicle reaches 40-45 mph. taken to 2 dealer who said to wait and see if it stops doing it, since vehicle has a 5 year warranty.*ak the dealer acknowledged that something was wrong within the engine, but could not determine what it was. *yh
