Check engine light came on twice within 3 months of using this car. and it was one of the severe types of illness the car has, if not fixed i could've been stuck on a remote area with no phone reception, which where i live by the way. the car had a slow acceleration, when i stopped on a stop light/sign. had that fixed on december right before christmas week, but engine light came on again after 2 weeks of driving it, car won't shift gears again, slow acceleration, probably has something to do with its transmission etc.

I have a 2016 nissan altima with 85,000 miles that is currently experiencing some issues. i've found multiple people online that are having the same problem. the vehicle at times when pushing down the accelerator will not respond then suddenly take off like it's in 3rd gear. this has caused me too get stuck in intersections with no power and nearly causing accidents. nissan is saying there is no issue. how can this not be a safety recall?

Excessive oil consumption. my car starts to get difficult to drive about every 200-300 miles. start to hear a clunk, when i add oil it is ok but only gets 16-18 miles a gallon vs the 28-30 it should get. engine is burning through 2 quarts of oil every week. this make model and year already has a recall on it but the web site is saying that my vin number has no open recalls. this car is the same as the cars covered by the recall. it can't be a coincidence that my vehicle and hundreds of others, from the same year are doing the same thing but. nissan is only covering certain ones. nissan needs to fix this problem for all 2006 altima's with excessive oil consumption. it is costing $12 a week fir oil and my gas mileage is down by 1/3.

2014 Nissan Altima

I purchased a used 2014 nissan altima with 58,000 miles. it drove great during test driving and on my way home which is 1 hour away from where i live. by day 2 the car began jerking around 60 mi per hr. and under. i made an appointment to have it looked at my local nissan dealership. by day 4 on the way to the dealership the rpm would jump up to 4 and the car made a winding noise. it would advance forward quickly and then stall. all of this while driving on a major highway. i came to a place where i could pull over waited a few minutes and then tried to pull off the car would not go anywhere. i finally had to have it towed to the dealership. nissan has yet to know what the problem is, saying it has an "unspecified code". it's been 3 days. i know there had been a recall on the cvt transmission however i don't see my vehicle vin on the list.

Accelerating onto the highway on yesterday my check engine light cane on as well and my traction control light which caused my car to lose power. i was able to get right back off the freeway and turn into a neighborhood. when i turned the car off and back on it started with the same lights on. i had my transmission rebuilt at 73,000 miles with a 12,000 mile warranty already but i don't think that my transmission is the issue this time. i had to get my car towed to the nissan of grapevine dealership again because i refuse to drive the car with my 3 month old and sixteen year old in the car
