I have a 2005 nissan altima sl and took my car into conicelli nissan back in february of this year for an order change and something else minor. conicelli nissan brought to my attention that the floor pan was rusted on the passenger side front. i was told to contact the body shop of conicelli which i did and they in turn told me that they can not do the repair because of the rust and they didn't want to be held accountability for it and perhaps risk a law suit further down the line. my complaint is the car is only 8 years old with 60,000 miles on it and i have taken it to two different body shops and they are amazed that the floor pan has rusted already being that the car is only 7 years old and in very good condition. this seams like a known problem with nissan cars and it doesn't make any sense and the customers want answers now. it will cost me at least $1,000 to get this taken care of and i don't have that kind of money. i need someone to contact me to get to the bottom of this ongoing issue. *js

After hearing on the today show this morning complaints against nissan regarding under carriage rust i thought i would file a complaint as well. in approx. 2012 while walking towards my car i noticed something hanging from the bottom of my passenger side. under further inspection i noticed severe rusting and it had actually rusted completely through the floor board. the only thing holding my feet in the car was the carpet. i immediately contacted nissan and was told oh well so sad not gonna help me because the car was no longer under warranty. i had pretty much always had the car serviced regularly at uftring nissan in peoria illinois. this was never mentioned in the 4 years prior to me in the many trips i made for routine oil changes and several strut repairs on this car. yes i have had strut issues with this car from day one. they have been replaced at least 6 times since i bought the car in 2008. anyhow, i took the car to my body guy and he replaced. the floorboard for 500 bucks and said the driver side is headed in the same direction. at this time i know of no issues with rusting on the drivers side. i personally check every time the car is lifted. however if it is rusting from the inside out it is more than possible that by the time i could visually see damage it will be completely through with carpet being the only thing keeping me inside. i absolutely want nissan to not only pay for the first replacement but fix the problem so i am not paranoid about the seat falling through when i am driving on the road. this is total negligence on nissans part. *tr

I have a 2005 nissan altima that i just took in for a front end check and was notified that the floorboard on the driver side is completely rusted out, i can actual touch the carpeting through this large hole. i can not believe this, the car is only 7 years old. i have searched this on the internet and it seems to be a very common complaint, why isn't nissan do anything about this? how many complaints need to be made before something is done about this? obviously this a manufacturer defect. *tr

I purchased my car in january of 2006 used with about 3,800 miles. i've taken my vehicle several time to nissan dealer for my 15,000 mile service and also they replace my suspension on a recall. i discovered today that my front passenger floorboard is completely rusted out, i mean if it wasn't for the interior carpet i could put my whole arm down in the hole. i've done research and it seem to be a very common problem with model and year. nissan has lifted my car numerous time and has not once mentioned seeing rust, which at this point is now out of warranty. this could've been fixed and still under warranty months ago. i was my car all the time and even in winter, i understand that rust is natural on a car, but when you see that this happens more than often on this particular model they should do something about it. either extend the warranty out further or recall. my car is no even that old and this is upsetting that i going to shell out some major bucks to get this fixed properly. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated the driver and passenger side floor panel was completely covered with rust and the only thing holding it in place was the carpet. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised him that the floor panel needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and he had not received a response. the failure and current mileage was approximately 103,000.

Excessive rust on the front driver's side floorboard. the metal floor under the carpet is completely rusted through. i first noticed the problem a little over three years ago but it has gotten progressively worse. apparently, this is a common issue for 2002-2006 nissan altimas. *tr

I got used 2005 nissan altima, when i got i didn't check under car. after few months i was at dealer for recalls and they told me that my car has rusted floorboard pan and its big hole in body , through that we can touch the carpet of inside car, and that kind of 2 big( approx. 8-10 inch) spot , one driver side and one passenger side, i tried to contact nissan consumer affairs , but they said its not covered with warranty or any kind of recalls , means i have to fix them by myself. its weird that its not that old car and only particular two spots not anywhere else under whole car so its kind of design mistake , some says its water drainage is holding water on that spots and that's why its getting rusted. but may be nissan company must know exactly what is wrong with design and how to solve because its not just 10-15 , its all customers problem who owns 2005 nissan altima. *tr

Driver's and passenger floor boards rusted completely though, holes in floor. car was well maintained. *tr

My 2005 nissan altima driver side floor has rotted until there are holes in the floor. the floor need to be patched. *tr

Tl* the contact owns 2005 nissan altima. the contact had taken the vehicle to an authorized dealer for an unrelated repair and the technician noticed that the front driver and passenger side floorboards were completely rusted. the vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic for repair. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 95,000. updated 02/22/12 *bf the brakes were replaced, as well as the ac line that was leaking. updated 03.05.12

I purchased my 2005 nissan altima 2.5s used in november of 2006. it had approximately 33,000 miles on it. five years later, the car has 101,000 miles on it and the passenger side floorboard has major rust damage; so much that you can actually touch the interior rubber floorboard of the car from the outside. i have yet to take it to a nissan dealership, since i know my warranty is expired, but i have had many professionals take a look and they are rendered speechless over the damage. i have been told numerous times that the damage is obviously a factory defect, a car that's only a few years old should not have that kind of damage and that it would cost well over $1000.00 to repair. i have maintained my vehicle well and haven't had any other major problems with it; just the usual replacements. i've put a new battery in it recently, i've had the brakes replaced twice, rotors once; it currently needs a new serpentine belt, lower ball joint and the muffler is showing rust, so that will be a replacement in the near future. i've read about people who live in cold, snowy areas having these problems as well, due to salt and chemical exposure. i wash and dry my car after every snow, including the undercarriage, to remove these chemicals. i do not park in wet areas, grass or dirt. my car has always been on concrete. nothing in my car leaks, i've never had standing water in it, i've never had wet floors. this is a defect that nissan needs to take full responsibility for. i am beyond overwhelmed with the hundreds of complaints i've read in regards to this problem; this affects so many nissan owners, so it's obviously not a problem caused by owner neglect. the driver side of my car looks fantastic; no rust damage whatsoever, so once again, that proves that i am not negligent or responsible for the rust damage on the passenger side; nissan is. *tr

I filed a complaint with nissan north america regarding rust damage on my 2005 altima 3.5 se w/67,000 mi. after being referred to my dealership for an investigation a rep with nissan regional consumer affairs says that unfortunately my warranty doesn't cover rust after 5 years. i asked if it'''s nissan'''s position that i was negligent in maintaining my vehicle. how else would you explain a 6 yr low-mileage car having extensive rust issues? would they at least admit to partial responsibility and help with the cost of repairs? everything on my car is still like new except premature rusting through the floorboards on both the driver's side and passenger side. i explained i've diligently maintained this vehicle with the hopes of it lasting for years based on the reputation of imported cars. it's been garaged during most inclement weather. i explained how shocked i was when i saw all the complaints, forums, and blogs regarding this issue. there seems to be a problem either with the material (durasteel) or the manufacturing process of all the gen 3 and 4 altimas that allows water to infiltrate between the metal on the floorboards causing premature rust through. there are plastic plugs that become dislodged or are not installed correctly. nissan will not stand behind their product and help with the repairs. nissan has been required to extend the warranty on the rear subframe so they are aware of issue with the metals they're using. regardless, i will never own another nissan. please check and if you're facing the same expensive repair, call nissan consumer affairs @ 800-647-7261 and ask to file a complaint. they will be surprised and say "this is the first we've heard of this."' don't waste your time waiting for a reply. immediately file a complaint with the better business bureau and nhtsa. your nissan rep will cheerfully give you the numbers. *tr

I have just discovered that my 2005 nissan altima is rusting under the driver side and also under the passenger side. under the driver side the rusting is worse, i can just peel off the the rusting area with my bare hands. i know that this type is problem is common with these vehicles, i have seen several pictures published by other nissan altima owners on the internet. my car has 86000 miles on it and it is 6 years old. i did not expect such a serious defect on a relatively young car, which was garaged a well cared for ever since a bought it new. *tt

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated the floor boards on the driver and passenger side were rotten. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the repair cost would be $440 per side in order to repair the floor boards and they were out sourcing the repairs to a body shop. the vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who will replace the floor boards at the owners expense for $600. the manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 104,000.

Rusted floor board on passenger side. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated that the vehicle was being examined by an independent repair shop for a state inspection when she was informed that there was a very large hole in the frame under the vehicle. the hole was the result of severe rust and corrosion. the vehicle was then taken to an authorized dealer and the failure was confirmed. a complaint was also filed with the manufacturer. the failure mileage was 124,000. updated 11/22/11*lj the consumer stated the failure was repaired at a cost of $400 with no assisstance. the vehicle could not pass inspection until repairs were complete. the floor was rotted from the inside out. it did not show on exterior until the undercoating failed. updated 06/14/2014 *js

While having the oil changed it was brought to the owner's attention that the passenger front floorboard was completely rusted through. the vehicle was taken to a body shop where they advised to take the vehicle to the local nissan dealer because there was no other rust on the car and the extent of perforation was so severe the body shop said there must be some problem with the way the car was assembled. the car was taken to the local nissan dealer where the warranty representative looked at the vehicle and denied any warranty support or assistance with getting the vehicle repaired. i returned the vehicle to a reputable body shop where the car was repaired for $600.00. the body shop informed me that the rust had started on the inside and rusted through from the top. after repairs, the owner saw that several other vehicles of the same year and type have the same defect. *tr

'2005' nissan altima 2.5 sl. noticed a large area of rust under the passenger front floorboard when car was on a lift. did a search online and found that there were numerous complaints for this same problem. affected years '02' - '06'. many others have contacted nissan and they have refused repair. *tr

There is a rusted hole on the passenger side floor of the car. the hole is the size of a softball with rusted metal around the area of the hole. apparently this is common on 2002-2006 nissan altimas. the car has never been in an accident and has been well maintained. *tt

To whom it may concern: i purchased a 2005 nissan altima in july 2009. recently, i had my car inspected and a rust perforation was noticed on the underside of the passenger side. it is the size of a baseball which is through the first layer of metal. i spoke with the dealer, where i purchased the vehicle, and they stated that my warranty for perforation was 5 years and has expired. i had planned on repairing it myself; however, upon online research i found that this is a common problem with the 2002-2006 altima models. the perforation on these cars appears on the passenger side floor exactly where mine is. the floor is designed with two pieces of sheet metal with a gap in between which, unfortunately allows water to become trapped. this is a design error which causes premature rust to form. i am concerned that if i repair the rust, it will inevitably return. i contacted nissan canada and was told the same story regarding my expired perforation warranty. i explained the numerous complaints online concerning this matter and was surprised that the service agent was unaware of this issue. i understand that my warranty has expired; however, it is unacceptable that the floor of the car rusted prematurely due to a design flaw. i take pride and care of my vehicle and i expect nissan to acknowledge this flaw and enact a recall for the floor on all 2002-2006 nissan altimas or, at a minimon pay for the repairs on my vehicle. thank you for consideration in this matter, [xxx] (bhs, rtmr) *kb parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).*cc

During a routine brake inspection it was brought to my atttention the floorboards on the passenger side (front seat) have corroded to the point where a finger could punch through the floor. the damage is isolated and appears to be from a faulty drain system from the air conditioning unit. after driving the car for over an hour with the air running, there is no draining on the floor of my garage. it appears the water is puddling under the floor mats and causing the erosion of the floor. i am the only owner of the vehicle and it has been garaged since the day i brought it home.

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated that after having the vehicle inspected by the state, they advised him that the front driver and passenger side floorboards were completely rusted. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they advised him that the floorboards needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired for the driver and passenger side floor boards. the manufacturer was notified and they offered no assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 82,000. updated 09/15/11*lj updated 11/23/11

Vehicle was brought for routine inspection. 2 holes were discovered in floor panels that prevented it from passing vt inspection. corrosion was from inside out under both front seats not visible from vehicle interior. vehicle has been garaged since purchase 6/25/04. corrosion is excessive for age and mileage even in an area prone to road salt corrosion. multiple complaints have been filed on model years 2001-2005 yet no recall. the problem is extremely expensive to repair and if not recognized can allow carbon monoxide into passenger compartment.

Defective drain system for water run off has caused passenger and driver side floor pan to rust completely through. there are holes in my floor where feet are placed. *tr

The safety and durability of liquid filled engine mounts needs to be examined. they are a total and utter failure. the manufacturers know this, but are making the consumer pay for replacement for premature failures and related damages. this is why you have engine run always. the electronics aren't meant for this much vibrations. with a solid, or even semi-solid mount, the frame absorbs some of this energy. best replacement mounts should be a semi-solid, honey comb neoprene core, with cable reinforcement. *tr

My wife's 2005 nissan altima was in for a routine oil change when we discovered the passenger side floor pan is rusted through to the interior carpeting. there's not a mark on the car otherwise and my wife loves her car. she purchased it new from the dealership. i called the original dealer . he has never heard of it and wants to see it for himself. i find that hard to believe with so much noise on the internet regarding this safety defect. *tr

Car purchased new ,05 altima ser 3.5, $30,000 price tag. noticed rust at approx 3/11, took to dealer they claimed never having seen anything like it before told me to contact nissan corp and file complaint, i did ( file #[xxx]) dealership also took pictures and sent them to nissan. " [xxx]" nissan regional specialist ( ex: # 457225) stated it was not there problem "rust happens". rust in floorboards on passenger side of vehicle. vehicle has now 67,000 miles and now carries my new born son, born 5/09/11. why isn't this being addressed, where's is the governments protection of my family and i ? there are so many complaints about the same issue online and in blogs. what are u waiting for? Part of the front passenger side floor rusted away leaving about a 10" x 12" hole. this is right where one would probably place one's feet, getting in and out and while riding. gerweck nissan, in monroe, michigan verified the problem and reported it to nissan company. nissan company rep. in an e-mail discussion decided not to repair the floor. what i derived from my email correspondence, is when a nissan is nine years old and has high mileage if the metal rusts away it is normal and expected. *tr

While getting the oil changed, the passenger side floor pan was found to have excessive rust. took the car to the nissan dealership to get an assessment of the damage. they confirmed the rust was abnormal and was caused by improper water drainage. unfortunately the car was about 4 months out of the 5 year rust warranty. the dealer would not take any action and urged me to create an incident report with nissan corporate. i did, and upon review of the case, nissan's refused to help with the problem and recommended me to take the car to an auto body shop to get repaired on my dollar. i understand cars rust, but there is no way the rust happened overnight. based on the extent of the rust, the floor pan was most likely severely rusted prior to the expiration of the rust warranty. nissan should stand by there product and repair the damage that appears to be widespread and model specific. nissan should not only fix those vehicles where the owners have been lucky enough to have been notified by a good samaritan changing the oil. i feel penalized for not personally climbing under my car and periodically inspecting it. suffice it to say, there is only carpet separating the passengers feet and the pavement below. not a reassuring feeling..... *tr

I have bought brand new 2005 nissan altima 3.5se in october of 2004. just yesterday during my oil change i have noticed a hole underneath the car and rusted area in the diameter of a foot or so. flooring rusted and it was obviously result of not forced damage but defective materials used to make the car flooring. i am finding forums and loads of complaints that right after the warranty is expired car's flooring simply start to rust. i do not know what to do and i am sure dealership will turn me away as the car is not under warranty and they usually do not have body shops. who can help me as i spent about $33,000.00 for this car (last 6 years of paying it off.... help!!?!? *tr

The paint on my 2005 nissan altima which is pearl white is peeling off on each side of the hood. my car is still under warranty 89,000 miles and nissan will not do anything to help me with this defect. i was told that the nhtsa are great people and maybe they could help me. *tr

Took my car in to be inspected (pa inspection). floor pan on my 2005 altima is completely rusted through on the passenger side of the vehicle. needs to have floor pan replaced. this car has very low mileage, is clean and garage kept. checked the internet, and noticed quite a few complaints about rust on the passenger and drive side. nothing else is showing rust. how can one part completely rust out and the remaining part of the car has none at all?? apparently there is a defect that is holding water/moisture and causing the rust. the car does not have any mechanical issue - basically like new. however, totally rusted out in one spot. *tr

What once was two decent sized rust areas on the floorboard of my nissan altima is now two gaping holes in which you can see and put your hand straight through and touch the ground outside if it wasn't for the carpet. i first noticed it when i was getting an oil change and my mechanic pointed out to me. the it all made sense because when ever it rained or snowed badly in my area i would always have wet floors and at first i thought something was leaking but i now know it's the two rust corrosion spot in the floorboard. and some days the odor from the wetness on the carpet is pungent. one is on the driver side and the other is right on the passenger side. i was looking through my warranty and vehicle info books that came with the vehicle and it definitely shows that rust warranty is lifetime or something to that nature i am going to look at it once again and ensure if that information is correct. *tr

Front floorboards rusted through

The floor pan of the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle rusted out after only 5 years of owning the vehicle. it is now so bad that you can push your foot right through the floor pan of the vehicle to the pavement below. i go to great lengths to take care of my vehicles and even rinse the underbody of the car after storms to remove the salt. i've never had a car rust out so quickly and in such a . *tr

The trunk of the vehicle, which in my opinion is designed poorly and does not have a secure way to stay upright, has fallen down and hit me on the head while i was leaning over the trunk to collect packages or bags, on more than one occasion due to wind. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact opened the driver's side door and the sharp point at the bottom edge severely cut her right leg. she was taken to the doctor for treatment. the failure occurred on three separate occasions. the contact was taken to the emergency room twice due to her leg injuries. the contact stated that this was a manufacturer design defect. she was highly concerned of the safety risk involved. the failure mileage was 21,000 and current mileage was 27,000. updated 11/07/08 *bf updated 11/07/08. *jb

I would like to report a situation i had with my leased 2005 altima that could be a serious problem for drivers and i think you should look into for a possible call back. seven (7) of the clips ( part 01553-09321) came off the car while driving, causing the lower engine cover to fall down and hanging by the remaining clips. not knowing the problem, i was startled and had to quickly pull over to see what the problem was. i had to tape the lower engine cover with duct tape in order to be able to drive the car. the cover is being held on by clips rather than bolts. if bolts or screws were in it, it would not have happened. i have been told that the service department that they replaces a lot of these clips. it seems to me that if you are replacing a lot of clips, they are not doing the job. if lower engine cover falls down, it could cause a major accident if the car is going at a high speed. i think it is incumbent on you to look into this matter, before there is a major accident. i am now very nervous about using the car, because if it happened once, it could happen again. the dealer is staten island nissan 222 parkinson ave, staten island, new york 10305 (718) 447-3878. i spoke to nissan and they claim that there was a scrape on the bottom and that it was my fault that it happened. if clips can pop that easy, there is definitely something wrong. it could not happen if they used bolts. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the radio and cd player began working intermittently and then stopped working entirely. when the contact took the vehicle to the dealer, she was advised to go to another repair shop. she was informed that the fee to repair the radio and cd player would be free; however, she was charged $185.44. the contact took the vehicle to nissan and they were equipped to perform the repair, but the dealer from where the vehicle was purchased, has yet to diagnose the failure. they could only inform her that the failure was internal. the powertrain and failure mileage were unknown. the current mileage was 47,135. updated 3/5/08 *cn the dealer stated rear window operates really slow, and pillar/roof keeps coming a loose. updated 03/05/08 *tr

Side view mirrors are made of cheap lightweight plastic and they deteriate and become very foggy and driver can not see out of them. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while entering the vehicle the sharp lower corner edge of the front driver side door injured her leg. she was transported to the hospital. the front passenger door exhibits the same defect. she was injured twice after the failure. the failures haven't been remedied. the failure mileage was unknown. the current mileage was 36,049.

Dt*: the contact stated there is a special service campaign # p5216 for the sub frame. the dealership will not have the equipment or parts available to perform the special service campaign until february of 2006. updated 2/13/2006 - *nm

An update to a previously reported problem, which may help other car owners in determining a suspected problem. i have a 2005 nissan altima 3.5 sl. last summer i was having problems with the car's handling at highway speeds. i had the car aligned, replaced all 4 tires, one by one and was still having with the car-which was shaking at speeds over 60 mph. i took it to the dealer again and they determined that the shaking was like a turbulence effect. the spoiler under the car was not allowing the wind to flow through properly, which was causing the shaking effect at highway speeds. the dealer replaced the spoiler with the 2.5 model's spoiler. this seems to have solved the problem. this car is a lighter car and the wind does have an effect on it when driving at higher speeds. the tires which are a continental brand are probably not the correct tires for the car due to road force issues and not the proper speed rating for this model either. i will probably replace those with a better model and high speed rating once they start to wear down. *nm

I own a 2005 nissan altima and within 3 months of the purchase of the vehicle in 2005 the weatherstipping or molding on the roof on the exterior of the car had come off. while driving on the freeway i heard a sound similar to a banging on the roof. the molding was hitting the top of the car causing minor damage to the paint on the roof. i took it back to be fixed ,and i assumed it was glued back on. after waiting a day to pick up the car from the dealership i was driving home and the weatherstripping came off again. i took it back and they fixed it again. i recently took the car to a car wash and when i got the car back i noticed the molding had come off again, and this time ,the molding was totally bent out of shape ,and it looksedterrible. i plan to take it back to the dealership again this week. *ak

Where do i begin. first test drive, we stopped to put gas in vehicle. then on start up it would not start. had to call dealer for a jump start, twice. then 2nd week my driver side exterior roof molding kept popping off. after the 3rd time, it was warped. took to cardinale nissan in seaside ca, and they ordered the wrong part. then after driving around with some bright blue tape all the way down my car, they then suggested that they had to follow a bulletin from nissan where they just placed new clips and lots of glue. they didn't replace the molding. a few months later it kept popping off again. took car back and then they wanted to charge me to fix the problem they never did! after arguing they agreed to replace with new molding. i waited 2 weeks for part to come in, took car back 4th time. when i picked it up, they had once again, just put new clips and even more glue. they didn't replace molding again. was told to wait 48 hours for glue to dry, so now i got to drive around with neon green tape on my car. two days later, took it back and it was still lifting. they finally agreed to replace the molding. i have to wait another 48 hours with a new strip of green tape. *nm

2005 nissan altima with entire under carriage rusting and rusted through certain areas. i change my own oil so it was not discovered until i brought it into a nissan dealership for a timing belt repair in may '10 while on the lift the nissan tech pointed out the problem. he even admitted that this has been a problem/defect in this particular model/year. we took our complaint to nissan and filed a claim (claim #[xxx]). they informed us that since our warranty was expired there was nothing that they were going to do. even though the rust was not discovered until '10 it was there all along during the warranty time. this is a garage kept car and is in very good condition. there are no other rust problems except for the under carriage. i have read numerous complaints about this problem and hope to have support from outside agency to make nissan make good on it's quality of car. we did not spend our hard earned $33,000 on a fred flinstone car!!! we are willing to summit pictures and continue our mission until justice is done. this is a huge safety concern that nissan should address. without the knowledge of this problem one could be injured severely. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

I just purchased a 2005 nissan altima from cooper nissan in easton, pa. problem: the trunk lid is poorly designed and it will not stay up on a sloping driveway.*ak when i purchased the car and opened the trunk on my driveway. the trunk lid would not stay up, when parked on my driveway. about a 15 degree incline. the trunk lid has fallen on me several times but i was not cut. i contacted the cooper service dept and they ordered new torsion bars. after they were installed it appeared to work. on 8/14/04 i washing vacuuming out my trunk. the trunk lid fell down on my and caused a puncture wound to the back of my head and the blood started flowing&. eventually with a compress the blood flow stopped after about an hour but the headache lasted for hours! i called the cooper service dept and they essentially said" they couldn't do anything, thats the way its designed- sorry" i then called the national nissan consumer affairs dept and they reviewed my complaint and suggested a course of action of checked my car against others on the lot and to replace the torsion bars as needed. but i had already done that. and their final postion was " thats the way its designed and thats all they could do, sorry it doesn't work on your driveway - you'll just have to hold up the lid when you use the trunk" and what happens when you need two hands to put something in your trunk??? i have repeatly asked for a cheap , easy fix to add additional strength to the trunk lid but i been stalled by the nissan personnel. they don''t even want to try to solve the problem. i don't care if it was an offical nissan fix, i just wanted a fix. so that i can safely use my trunk without being injured.

The door is not align right could the center beam be bent? also molding inside of door is not staying on the center beam? dealership marlborough nissan is confused on the problem. also paint problems nice spider web on the paint and paint peeling on passenger mirrow.*ak
