Description

I did a heck of a lot of research before I decided to do this to my AWD and with the help of Ed at Bob Baker Lexus and Chris at Woodfield Lexus I was able to do this without severely damaging my IS. Thanks guys!

I put on staggered wheels making sure that the OD of the tires were nearly the same. I ended up with a .06 difference between the front and rear tires. Here's the setup...
Front 19x8 +40 offset 225/35/19 OD=25.20
Rear 19x9.5 +40 offset 265/30/19 OD=25.26

I got the Tanabe DF210 from Ed at Bob Baker Lexus. The springs are for the GS but have the same diameter as the stock IS250 AWD. The springs have not settled yet, but this is how the car is currently sitting...

Front Drivers Side = .75"
Front Pass Side = .75"
Rear Drivers Side = .125"
Rear Pass Side = .125"

It has been about 500 miles since the modifications and I haven't had any rubbing problems yet. I've been testing it by hitting rough RR tracks at speed, dips in the road, fast cornering, and even the slight curb off my driveway. So far no sounds or marks on the tires.
