I purchased the 2010 land rover range rover sport hse aug. 2015, it is now march 2016 and check engine light started illuminating (on a couple of days then off a couple of days) about 3 months ago...in the last month i took to mechanic that specifically specialize in rr, i got several diagnoses within the 4 to 6 hours i was there...one diagnosis was possible oxygen sensor then the other was possible holes in a certain tube which was sealed but dignois still wasn't found completely 100 percent. ..well a week later check engine light back on...well since then i have been researching and it's unbelievable as to how many rr owners have this issue...now i'm highly concerned about was there a prior recall... the lr brand was supposed to be a replicable and high quality organisation but i do believe they focused to much on the "pretty" cosmetics of truck and the focus was not on the mechanics.. and really it was too many unnecessary "bells and whistles" added to truck to be able to tax for lurxy prices that the truck just simply can't handle..
