Brake system has been serviced by dealership five times within the last 2 years for excessive wear of brake pads and warped rotors. dealership continued to perform service on vehicle. however, has not been able to effectively remedy problem. please provide any additional information/attachments.*ak

While driving the brakes are squeaking. when applying the brakes car starts to shake. also, brake rotors are warped. dealer was contacted and attempted to fix the problem, but it has happened again. *ak

Brakes are not being released correctly. when taking foot slightly off the brakes the engine is pulling the vehicle up an incline. the engine is racing. *ak

Brake rotors replaced many times. brake pads replaced twice in 5000, fuel sensor and guage replaced, heater controls replaced twice in 5000, radio broke 3 times, dashboard replaced due to bubbling. poor gas mileage. *ak

Brakes keep wearing out. dealer has replaced front brakes on 6 different occasions. this defect may cause vehicle into an automobile accident. *ak

Car vibrates while driving and braking, ventilation/ air condition does not work right. the car has no defrostor

Brakes are sqeaking for no reason, upon stopping the car shakes and jerks slightly.*ak

I have 2 kids and a wife...... if my brakes fail at the wrong time no amount of $$ could fix it.....please have them fix this problem....look at all the posts related to this....it is a real problem. no safety defect mentioned. *ak

Front brake rotors warped twice - once at 3000 miles, once again at 6000 miles - dealer states that the new pads are "re-designes" and should correct the problem - i have yet to see an improvement

Consumer has replaced brake pads & rotors 4 times. there was a burning smell & squeaking sound coming from brakes. also, extended stopping distance. deaelr claimed t brakes were being used to excessive. dealer had tried new pads & brakes were still not fixed.*ak

Do not buy a kia! where shall i begin?--the car has 18,654 miles and the front brake pads and rotors have been replaced 5x. unbelieveable!! wanna hear more? i went to court on 6-15-00, nj lemon law, and they thought the brakes were fine, so i settled for an extended warranty----now just 2 months later the brakes failed again!!!!! i have had other numerous problems such as ac, heat, stalling, radio, fuel tank and more--reminder-the car is 2 years old. please contact me, if anyone has any questions or suggestions for me. right now, i've been contacting kia, consumer affairs, better business bureau trying to see what i can do,cause, i don"t want the kia anymore!!!!!!!!

Ongoing problem with excessive wear of brake rotors and pads. dealer replaced rotors and pads on three separate occasions, and turned front rotors once. please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.*ak

When brakes are applied, they would lock up. the front rotors were getting jerky, loose & warped. been to dealer & was repaired at least 3-4 times. problem would always come back. mjs
