Hello, i am writing to complain about a leaking door seal on my 2006 wrangler. the seal has been replaced three times, but continues to leak. when it rains, water collects on the floor creating a wet and slippery condition that makes it dangerous to drive, as the heel slips while operating the pedals. furthermore, the water leak causes a mold condition that is harmful to health. please let me know if there is anything you can do. thank you.

Frame and body all rotted out is only 9 years old. *tr

While driving on the route smoke start coming out from air / heat vents. i stopped the car, got out of opened frond hood, but was nothing there. walked to passenger door and saw fire where passenger keeps legs. got my paperwork from the car and by the time i run away from the car the whole thing was ball of fire. *js

When filling the gas tank, it spills. pressure in the tank and/or filler hose builds up and causes the fuel to spray out, prior to the tank reaching a filled condition. this has happened from the first fill-up to present...over a period of 4 years...and continues. seems to be a poor design of angle of the tank fuller hose. *tr

Every time i fill up at the gas station the pump will overflow if i'm filling up the tank. the pump doesn't stop unless i pull the nozzle out at which point gas will spill all over the rear flare and paint. it happens at all gas stations. this is in my opinion a very serious safety issue. it appears chrysler is going to wait for an ignition source to be around for someone to get seriously injured or die before they resolve this. *tr

I bought my 2006 jeep wrangler rubicon new from a dealership. after few years i started having issues with fuel spitting out of the gas filler when filling up at a gas station. about 1/4 to 1/2 cup at a time. doesn't matter which staion or which pump i use. the pump i use would click off,but always a second too late. this is a very dangerous problem in that not only is it damaging my paint and wheel well flares but also spilling gas on the ground creating an environmental hazard as defined and regulated by the environmental protection agency, as well as splashing onto the person filling the jeep covering them in flammable chemicals and exposing them to long-term health issues through inhalation and skin absorption as addressed by the national institutes of health. not to mention with the fuel spilling out like that, it also creates a lot of fuel vapors. with jus a static spark, it could very well ingnite the fuel. i consider that a very dangerous situation.

Have a 2006 jeep wrangler with 24,000 miles which is experiencing front wheel shaking at about 40-45 mph and when braking. alignment, tires, etc. are good with no aftermarket modifications done to suspension. this appears to be a very common problem with wranglers and is even called and known as a "death wobble." no crashes, but dealer will charge to investigate and fix. as mentioned, this appears to be a very common problem with wranglers, therefore, isn't it a manufacturing flaw that jeep needs to take responsibility for? *tr

2006 jeep wrangler- at 65,000 miles developed what is known as the "death wobble". i have spent over $1500.00 trying to correct this problem and still at 50- 65 miles per hour develops a violent shake that fells as though the front wheel will fly off the vehicle- the only thing to do is slow down. now due to this problem other parts of this vehicle are breaking including the front hood latch that allows the hood to fly up into the windshield. i can not believe that there has not been a recall of this dangerous and potentially deadly vehicle. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 jeep wrangler. the contact stated that while attempting to close the hood, both safety latches fractured without warning. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that the hood latch would need to be replaced. the vehicle had not been repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the defect. the approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

There are no crash test ratings for the rear occupants in jeep wranglers. passengers are extremely vulnerable in the back seat since there is no protection except the roll bar but if they are rear-ended, the other car could simply hit the back seat directly. there is no neck protection as the seat is too short. when children ride back there, they are basically unprotected. this situation needs to be advertised so people don't assume it is safe to have passengers, especially children in the back of jeep wranglers. the back seat is only designed for cargo, not people! that's why they don't have data on rear occupant crash test ratings, because they would fail. *tr

my 2006 "trail rated" jeep wrangler se suffers from cheap quality, paper-thin, sheet metal front fenders that bend from rocks thrown from the worthless goodyear wrangler street-treaded, pebble throwing tires!! cheap quality!! my jeep has 8,400 easy driven miles, but now has dented fenders with cracked paint finish and paint flaking!! i should have bought a toyota instead of a "trail rated" jeep that isn't "gravel road rated"! *jb
