I was driving on a city street and highway when my upper and lower arms and ball joints just snapped in half also the whole right side of the vehicle has no electrical working the horn doesn't work so the air bags don't work and the company i got the vehicle from disabled my check engine light so i have no clue what else is wrong with the vehicle the companies name is wheels of success the owner is [xxx] she refuses to help me i have called sent emails text etc no response i got the vehicle from her in november 2016 i haven't had it a year and i have paid for repairs that should of been done before getting it i have paid out more than the cost of vehicle this has happened twice. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
I went to the store and picked up chips and drinks and keep running fine. got back in it and took me several tries to crank. kept going dead on the mile drive home. haven't been able to afford to get it fixed but mechanic replaced computer spark plugs fuel pump and injection system. still wouldn't crank well. had new computer programmed. nothing. till says 3 cylinders are not working and i need a new motor.
Airbag light continues to appear on and off even though recall m35 was performed. 06/17 rotors had to be replaced along with brake pads. 04/15 passenger side front window regulator repaired 04/13. not working properly again. a/c condenser replaced 04/13. not working.
This past may, my air bag sensor light kept coming on and staying on. i brought the car to my local jeep dealer. they diagnosed a faulty impact sensor, left side and replaced it at a cost to me of $297.10. today, six months exactly after that visit, the air bag light came on and stayed on. i am bringing it in to be looked at tomorrow.

A year ago while highway driving for several miles, the engine wire harness from starter to battery caught fire. the harness was destroyed. a replacement from a salvage yard went about 100' and it also caught fire destroying itself. another harness was installed and a year later the same fire on the same harness occurred yesterday. *tr

Power window motor went, couldn't get window up!
Tl* the contact owns a 2002 jeep liberty. while driving at any speed, the speedometer malfunctioned and failed to display the actual speed of the vehicle. the vehicle lost power and stalled. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring for the sensor that was connected to the transmission became fractured when the emergency brake was applied. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 156,000.

2012 jeep liberty. consumer writes in regards to vehicle door locks issue. *smd the consumer stated she wants to only unlock the driver's side door from the outside, not have all the doors unlock. the consumer stated she knows if she clicks the button twice, it will unlock all the doors. however, she only clicked the button once. the consumer stated the doors would lock and unlock randomly. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2002 jeep liberty. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v046000 (electrical system, air bags); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time to do the recall repair. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue. the contact had not experienced a failure.
I keep my car parked in an enclosed garage when it is not being driven. one morning, i went into the garage to drive my car to work. i used my remote to open my car door. i then noticed that the backseat passenger window, immediately behind the driver side was rolled down. i know i had not rolled it down. i got in the car and pushed on the button to raise the window. the window rattled and groaned with an electrical sound. i looked at the window - it had not rolled up. i had to get to work, so i drove my car with the window in that shape. when i got to work i asked a co-worker to help me tape it up. so then, my window was manually pushed up by two people trying to push it up from the inside and the outside. then tape was applied to the window to hold it up, but it started to slip down. so the person who was first helping put a piece of cardboard on the inside part of the window, saying that would prevent it from falling down. it worked for awhile, but then the ...
