On 2/18/2020 i was driving my vehicle in a snowy weather and my brakes failed to stop my vehicle and ended up sliding down the carb and hit a parked vehicle. i have a recall for abs. my transfer case under the hood was leaking and making a weird loud noice. went to the dealership right before the accident happened but they asked me to come back on monday.

The following recall was issued: 'a brake fluid leak on the circuit board may result in an electrical short, increasing the risk of a fire. nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2015-2017 nissan murano, 2016-2017 nissan maxima, 2017-2018 nissan pathfinder, and 2017 infiniti qx60 vehicles' i took my car in to the dealer for the recall, the work was completed however 1 month later the car lost all its brake fluid, we had to have the car towed to the dealership. upon inspection it was discovered that the recall was corrected with a defective part. the recall problem which was supposedly fixed was corrected with a defective part which caused an extremely dangerous driving situation. our teenage daughter was driving at the time when all the warning lights went one. obviously this recall was not corrected and if infiniti believes it was, they are wrong. how can a defective part be used for a recall?

Issues occurred for last week or two. after few minutes of driving when car engine is hot, my car steering wheel becomes so stiff that sometimes it is impossible to turn right or left. also when you push break it's make noises, it's sound like crushing empty soda can.

My car hydroplaned and everything shut off. the brakes and steering wheel locked and the engine shut off. there was nothing i could do to prevent the accident. i was driving under the speed limit and was not engaged in any reckless maneuvering. i felt the car slide in an unnatural direction and when i attempted to counter correct i found the steering wheel had locked. i next tried the brakes which were also unresponsive. the vehicle slide into the center divider on the freeway and i slowly rolled to a stop. upon coming to a stop there was a strange odor in the cabin of the car, some sort of fume. i tried the gas peddle but the engine was unresponsive as well. i was pushed off the highway by highway patrol. when the tow company showed up, the driver of the tow truck was able to start my car by bypassing the systems ignition and jump-starting it, he then drove it up onto the tow truck bed without a problem. this tells me that the brakes, power steering and engine failure was not cause by the damage of the impact but rather that the car shut itself off in mid transit. i've contacted infinite and they are refusing to run a diagnostic on the electronics to find out the cause of the failure, so i am taking matters into my own hands. i'm grateful for the center wall divider or else the car would have slid into oncoming traffic! searching for insight and/or similar experiences form infinite car owners.
