Vehicle has been having this issue since day 1. spoke to other owners with the same issue. when slowing down from any speed, slightly or quickly, the car switches between ev mode and back. at all times the braking is odd. there are times where the car lunges forward when nearing a complete stop, other times the brakes seem to be letting go and grabbing again when slowing from a higher speed. i understanding this is the car switching between ev mode, regenerative braking, and transmission downshifting. but it is a major safety hazard as sometimes the braking can be very unpredictable. sometimes i near a car standing still and brake (city driving), and seconds before coming to a complete stop the cars brakes let go for a second and grab again. have experienced this on other hybrids, but nothing was as close to being as bad as the brakes are on this car. pads are healthy, rotors have plenty of life left in them.
