I have owned my car for about 2.5 years and driven about 27,000 miles. in this time i have had 7 tires fail. five were blowouts on the road and two i caught with bubbles in the tire. i have never had a blowout on any other car i have owned for 35 years. the tires are very low profile and seem to be very susceptible to the sidewalls failing. several of the blowouts have happened on the highway when i was going 55-65mph which is why i feel this is a safety issue. the dealership has told me that other owners are bringing in the same car with the same issue and when speaking to infiniti customer service they told me this was common to occur in the northeast of the country.
