Takata recall,i just purchased it,was pre owned.
On separate occasions for two days in a row i attempted to accelerate from a stopped position. i had no throttle control and the vehicle crept forward at idle speed until i was able to pull out of the flow of traffic safely. there was a recall a couple of years ago regarding this same issue and i had my vehicle repaired under the recall. apparently this issue persists. an engine code was set as evidenced by the "service engine soon" display. i have not had the opportunity to investigate this code.
