Problems with 2011 Infiniti G37 STEERING

On average, the 2011 Infiniti G37 starts to “feel” problems with the STEERING and its various aspects after 64 819 miles.

Driver lost complete control today in a parking lot. the brakes steering and engine shut down preventing any control by the driver, the car stopped rolled and stopped on its own. luckily was in a parking lot and was involved in any accident.

Steering wheel locked and could not unlock with key nor could dealer repair shop. a dealer repair person said it was not unusual. dealer will have to break the lock and reinstall at a cost of $1,500+. the car only has 55,000+miles, and there are a number of complaints issued over the past few years to nhtsa. one person cited that the manufacture of the "part" told nissan to "recall" and replace the part. inifinity is a part of nissan, but i have yet to find a "recall" issued for that reason by nissan nor its subsiuary - infiniti.
